A small, quiet campsite, difficult to reach with long vehicles (over 6.50 m), but excellent for tents and vans; an ideal place to spend a holiday immersed in nature, with walks in the woods up to the first peaks of the Alps, and an hour`s drive from Turin for visiting museums and the city center.
Pitches
We have 30 pitch for tents, mostly grassland, average size: 46 sqm (min 6m*4m) some of them suitable just for normal tents, few also reachable by vehicles
Chalets
We have 3 minichalets - tiny little 4 people wooden houses on an upper-shadowy hill in the center of the campsite. One double bedroom; one bedroom with a bunk bed; a bathroom with a shower,and a little kitchen
Facilities
A central area and a backyard area, 1 service block with 10 toilets, 10 showers, washing sinks, a washing machine, swimming pool and play ground/wooden games.
Vegetable garden always open, fabulous restaurant just next door, path and trial for hike, mountain bike, climb

We are in the north-west of Italy - 1h drive from TORINO (Turin) at 900 m. asl, in the middle of the first-line mountains of the Alps embracing the Po Valley (which crosses all the north)
Highest peaks reachable from here: 1400-1600 meters, nice and also easier hiking-paths good also for families or not trained people
Excellent stop for itinerary of Piedmont /north Italy ( 1 h from Barolo, Langhe, 2 h from Finale Ligure -Liguria seaside, 1,5h from Aosta, 1,5h from Milan, 2h from Lago Maggiore --- 2,5h from France, 5h from Switzerland)
We are far 15-20 min driving from nearest towns centers of Cumiana or Giaveno where you can find shops, groceries and other services
Since the road is not easy for many is preferable to have everything you need with you, in high season fresh bread service is delivered to the campsite by 9 a.m.

Arrive from Giaveno and follow signs for Cumiana until Colletta, then follow signs for the Verna di Cumiana hamlet, the last 8km are a narrow two-way road
