Situated just outside the City of Lincoln and only 10 minutes from the A1, The Railway Inn is an award winning village pub with a restaurant that receives great reviews.

All pitches include electric hook up, coded access gate, toilet facilities and free WiFi. At this time (May 2025) we do not have a pot washing area for tents, although this is hopefully going to be built in the very near future.

Despite the railway line running parallel to the site, visitors can enjoy rural walks both around the lake behind the site or at nearby Whisby Natural World. There is also a golf course within walking distance and an outdoor water activities centre.

We are open all year and have easy access. Dogs are very welcome, however only guide dogs are allowed in the pub and restaurant. Dogs are welcome in our heated marquee where food is also served.

From Lincoln take the A1434 south west towards A46 (Lincoln - Newark). At roundabout junction with A46 take the 2nd exit signposted Thorpe On The Hill. Follow this road through Thorpe On The Hill. The Railway Inn is on the Left just before the level crossing.
