Our family campsite is situated in the middle of the island Voorne-Putten, in the region South-Holland, near the characteristic fortified centre of the city of Hellevoetsluis, the Haringvliet and the North Sea beaches.
Still central on the site, is the old farmhouse where members of the Riedijk family live since 1917.
Camping `t Weergors is an excellent base for your hiking and cycling trails on the Island and is an ideal spot for fishing in our own private fishing pond or in one of the superb angling locations in the wider region.
The Canal in Voorne is internationally known as a good fishing spot. You can buy your fishing permit at the campsite reception.
Our campsite is open all year, please be aware that not all sanitary facilities are open from November to April.
Pitches Coming with your touring caravan, camper van, tent or trailer tent, you can choose between fields B and H, which are sheltered by trees and bushes.
Restaurant `t Karrewiel Enjoy a delicious lunch, dinner or a drink while the children play in the playground.
The Little Shop In `t Winkeltje you will find a basic range of groceries, sandwiches, snacks and ice creams.
Sanitary facilities and laundry There are three sanitary buildings spread across the site, equipped with all necessary facilities.
Dogs Camping `t Weergors offers various accommodations and pitches where your four-legged friend is more than welcome. On the terrace of Restaurant `t Karrewiel, you can ask for a bowl of water for your dog, and they`re welcome to join you for dinner.
Playground Enjoy the swings, slides, and climbing frames, or play in the sand in various locations throughout the campsite. For the littlest ones, Koe Antje (Cow Antje) near the central square is a hit. The bird`s nest swing in the large playground is popular with all ages! And in the natural playground at Lijster camping field, you`ll find play equipment made from tree trunks and sand, as well as a fun play tractor with a real steering wheel.
Fishing One of the most beautiful spots on the campsite is the fishing pond, accessible after a short walk.

Nearby Attractions
The versatility of the surrounding area is also reflected in Hellevoetsluis. Next to the pleasures of modern times, the glorious history is tangibly present. Even when you are only sitting on the large terrace in the harbour, you cannot escape the past characterised by the 17th century war and trading harbour. The Tromp Huys, the dry dock built by Jan Blanken, the Ruyterhuys, named after Michiel de Ruyter, and the Kruyt Huys are just a few of the places of interest in the fortress.
For the guests of ‘t Weergors the Haringvliet sweet water estuary is just a stone‘s throw away. Hellevoetsluis has several yacht-basins. Sailing on the Haringvliet is a wonderful experience. You really must visit the North Sea beaches of Hellevoetsluis and Rockanje.

By car: ‘t Weergors is not far from the ferry from the UK. Follow the A20/A4 or the A16/A15 in the direction of Rotterdam-Europoort Hellevoetsluis. Go to the N57, via the A15. On the N57, you take the exit Hellevoetsluis and follow the signs to the campsite. The alternative route is the N218 through Geervliet.
If you travel by public transport: From Spijkenisse Metro Centrum, take bus 101 to stop Amnesty Internationallaan. The campsite is a 20 minute walk from the bus stop.
