We`re excited to share some big news: Camping Hobby is currently undergoing a rebranding and will officially become part of Camping Lazy Rancho in 2026.
Camping Hobby will be renamed Camping Lazy Rancho - Adults Only
- the first camping area for adults (16+) in Switzerland.
Camping Lazy Rancho will become Camping Lazy Rancho - Family & Adventure - the perfect place for families with children, nature lovers, and adventure seekers.

Small meticulously kept 4-star family camping and caravanning site in a quiet, spectacular landscape setting surrounded by unspoilt nature, with unique views of the mountains.
A 20 minutes walk from the centre of Interlaken and 10 minutes from Lake Thun.
Free public transport Interlaken and surrounding (nearest bus-stop 5 minutes walk from site).
Suitable for caravans, tents and camper vans (new spacious hard-standing pitches). On the vast, tree-lined site you will find the right plot for every camping need on well-kept lawns. These are generously sized so that you can feel completely at home with us.
On our well-maintained grass and hard pitches with scattered trees:
Electricity connection (10 Amp)
Camper station (fill up with fresh water / dispose of grey water)
Disposal station for chemical toilets
E-charging station
Free WLAN on all sites

The excursion opportunities in a rich and varied natural and cultural landscape are virtually limitless.
There are mountains with spectacular panoramic views (for example: Jungfrau, Schilthorn, Schynige Platte, Niederhorn, Brienzer Rothorn) and the lakes of Thun and Brienz (boat cruises, swimming).
For adventure-seekers, Interlaken offers a genuine adrenaline rush. It`s no coincidence that the town between the two lakes is regarded as a mecca for adventure, offering every conceivable thrill on land, water and in the air.
Those who prefer a more leisurely pace will certainly want to stroll along the mainstreet with its views of the Jungfrau, then sit at a cafe and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the town center.
