Tucked away but still within easy reach of nearby villages and attractions, our small, dog and family-friendly site is the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Whether you`re arriving by motorhome, campervan, or pitching a tent, you`ll find a warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere here.
Our Motorhome Aire is open all year round, offering five spacious tarmac hardstanding pitches for self-contained motorhomes and campervans.
We offer non-electric, grass pitches for tents and campervans, all unmarked and spacious, so you can choose your ideal spot with no restrictions on tent size. With a gently flowing stream running through the site, kids can paddle and play, dogs can cool off, and the sound of trickling water adds to the peaceful vibe.
We`re not entirely off-grid with have access to drinking water, 2 toilets, 1 hot shower, and washing-up facilities. Off-ground BBQs and firepits are welcome, the perfect way to round off a day in the great outdoors.
Our site is all about old-school camping, where kids make their own fun, and grown-ups can truly relax.
Dogs are welcome too, we just ask that they`re kept on a lead while onsite, as we`re surrounded by farmland with livestock and horses. But once you step through the gate into the adjoining woodland, they can run free to their heart`s content.
Just a 10-minute drive from our campsite is Dumfries House, part of the estate of King Charles. It boasts stunning architecture, beautifully maintained grounds, and picturesque gardens - a must-visit during your stay.
Whether you`re after a quiet weekend escape or a longer break immersed in nature, our little site is waiting for you.
