There are some fantastic walks nearby including The Blue Door Walk to the Rocks of Solitude on the River North Esk, approx. 5 miles from site.
You can enjoy coastal walks and picnics along St Cyrus Nature Reserve, Montrose beach & Lunan Bay only a short drive away.
Montrose Basin visitor centre, home to over 50,000 migratory birds, offers a great day out for all the family.
Brechin Castle Centre offers lots of activities for children. There are 4 Golf Courses within a 15 minute drive. And don`t forget to visit Edzell Castle & the legend of the White Lady.
For a different kind of spirit, Fettercairn Distillery and it`s gift shop is only 4 miles away, open May-September.
