 Absolute gem of a campsite, relaxing, friendly and couldn’t recommend this place enough
New shower facilities are 5*
Lovely local pub over the road serving home cooked food
If want a place to truly experience a relaxing stress free break this is the place for you !

The site was very pleasant and peaceful. We really loved being beside the river where we could view nature.
Would have been nice though to have a waste water drain and tap for drinking water next to the caravan?
The new toilet facilities were very impressive although would have needed cleaned more regularly. Lastly, mirrors in the toilets would have been ideal.
Please see this as constructive criticism as we would like to revisit. Thank you. 🙂

Been to this site many times over the years.
Owners are very friendly and accommodating.
Think they are finally going to have a new toilet/shower block which will make a massive difference.
Walk down the river to East Stockwith to a great pub (The White Hart) superb food and atmosphere.

Nice clean site, pitch was a good size.
Some nice walks around the canal. Found the pub had a few drinks in there before walking back.
Took the paddle boards on the canal too.

Very friendly people especially the young lady.
Shower block not to good, but new one is being built it will be great.

Great camp site very large area.
Heather was very friendly and helpful on arrival.
Site was noisy on a night until a certain time then all went quiet.

Good clean site, pub across the road, with food.
Nice walk to the local pubs and local shop (open till late),
Good on site fishing for free,
Only downfall is there is only 1 small toilet block for the full site.

We Stayed for 2 nights over jubilee weekend,
Great site, good play area for kids.
Pub over road was lovely food and child friendly.

Have been many times and love this site, especially the walk down the river to the White Hart in West Stockwith.
Looking forward to seeing the new toilet facilities, plans up on site so hopefully they are now going to build them.
They are always developing this site so continues to improve.
