An idyllic spot with lots of space in and around the pitches and a lovely informal atmosphere. Fascinating surroundings: tidal inlets, quays, castles and delightful pubs and cafes.
While all the necessary facilities are provided and very well maintained, I feel that more than two washhand basins and more than one dish-washing point are necessary to cope with demand - especially given the price of pitches.
Not too busy even during the half term. A great site for exploring Pembrokeshire. Facilities were cleaned twice daily. The pitches are flat. Choice of 2 fields to camp in. Electric hook ups available. Reasonabely priced.
Small honesty shop selling bread, milk, local meats and seasonal veg. We brought bacon and sausages home, they're that good. Aldi, Tesco, etc 15 min drive away in Pembroke Dock.
Great campsite that allows fires. Plenty of space between tents /caravans/ campervans even on the Bank Holiday Weekend. Facilities were clean at all times.
Small honesty shop selling bread, milk, local meats and seasonal veg.
Washing machine and drying area were useful. Pitches are flat, electric hook-ups are available. Local supermarkets are 15 minutes away.
There is a great local pub (Cresselly Arms) 800m away.
The owner Fiona was very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble even during the busy harvesting season (it is a working farm).
Really lovely campsite. Stayed for 3 nights with 2 friends and our (total) 4 dogs. Very dog friendly. Plenty of space, large pitches, central area left to grow as a beautiful meadow.
A stream meanders through the site, with places to paddle and a deeper plunge pool area. Surprisingly not very midgy considering the water.
Honesty shop with local eggs, bacon, sausages, and a few other basics. Wood is £5 a bundle. Bring your own firepit - no firepits on site to use.
Immaculately clean shower and toilet area, with an excellent hot, powerful shower - maybe the best on a campsite! Portaloos closer to pitches. Partially sheltered washing up area with hot water.
Very useful area to dry clothing and towels under cover, and indoor space to use if raining etc. Washing machine for small extra charge. Space for re-freezing freezer blocks, and fridge space to share.
Extremely beautiful local area, and a short walk from a very nice pub. Friendly owner.
Pitch was level and ground not too hard. Grass was well maintained.
Such a peaceful and tranquil site. We stayed in the lower meadow and loved walking through the stream to get to the toilet block (a bridge is also available, but less fun!).
Facilities in the main block were the cleanest we've seen, and the owners have thought of so many little things to help visitors, including a borrowing box with things like crabbing lines and body boards.
Portaloos and dish wash station close to the lower field were a great addition, and also very clean.
Loan of a fire pit, delivered to the tent with everything needed was a particular highlight for us.
We've stayed at this site numerous times, it's our favourite. Super friendly owner, upgraded facilities, now has 2 new showers and toilet in addition to the previously existing one, also washing machine, fridge freezer and really handy drying room. Hot water wash up and recycling. Everything cleared, cleaned and tidied every day.
Excellent location for exploring the whole of south and west pembrokeshire, the beaches and beyond. The camping field is right on the river, some people even launch their kayaks and SUP to go to the pub on the quayside (5 mins walk up the lane)! Quiet and simple like camping used to be, ancient oak trees, rare marsh orchids growing in the meadow, dawn chorus in the morning and owls calling across the valley at night. Beautiful.
The site is about 6 acres and only 15 pitches so even in the summer holiday there is always plenty of room. Just love it.
Charming site with a very approachable and friendly owner. Good clean facilities and an indoor area where you could dry stuff off if necessary. These are a little hike from the field, although there is a portable loo situated down the hill that is more convenient and also spotless. My shower was, alas cold, but I think this was a one off ( or failure on my part to read instructions) and I toughed it out. Most happily would return
We stayed here at the beginning of September - the owner could not have been more welcoming despite the torrential rain. We found the site so peaceful and quiet. The power shower was lovely and hot, and there was even a mirror and a socket for your hair dryer. The owner has also provided an indoor waiting area for busy times, with a table, chairs and reading material plus clothes lines which would be really useful especially if you are tenting as it's always difficult to dry items especially during wet weather.
We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
Brilliant site, basic, beautiful setting, excellent owners, very helpful. Although basic, this is what we wanted, there are showers, toilets etc, electric hook-up, nothing else is needed, except thelovely weather & near-by pub which just added to the experience A1
This is a lovely quite campsite and out the way. The facilities are basic with one toilet and one shower, but clean. This would be perfect for caravans. It's tucked out the way so a car would be advisable if you wanted to see quaint areas like Tenby and St Davids. Although I only stayed a couple of nights, what made my holiday and also made it happen for me was the kind and helpful owners that went out of their way for me. They allowed me to leave my car at their farm and go off walking along the Pembrokeshire coast. Along with guidence. Thank you very much for everything.
