Lovely simple venue, easy to come & go.
Simple facilities but a very clean & tidy toilet.
So quiet and such a dark sky showing lots of stars!
Friendly owner. I'll go back!

Absolutely perfect location for anyone wanting a peaceful night.
Lovely host and ideal location.
A break from the normal hustle and bustle of a busy campsite.
We will definitely be back.

Fabulous, peaceful scenic site!
Small and perfectly located within walking distance of fantastic beach.
Surrounded by wonderful views and superb nature.
Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic peaceful site with views to the sea.
Toilet shed nicely fitted out. Great, friendly customer service.
We enjoyed a walk along the coast and our smoked kipped bun at Crasters.

I think we hit the jackpot - we had the field to ourselves so we didn’t have to worry about the children getting up early - they could shout anytime, kick a ball anywhere and nae bother. We also had glorious weather and saw interesting birds on the site. The birdsong was lovely.
You can faintly hear the north/south trains in the distance.
Just one wee loo in a delightfully fitted-out shed. The light didn’t work but with no one else around we left the door open! It was always clean and well stocked.
The owner was very friendly and responded very speedily to my emails. Great value and very convenient for Alnwick castle and good beaches. Our favourite was Embleton Bay.

Lovely quiet basic campsite Toilet kept clean despite the bad weather.
Only faults were lack of light in the loo and a washing up station would be helpful.
Would definitely return though. Would struggle if only in a tent.

Lovely campsite away from all the tourists and near the beach.
V basic with no showers or electricity but was perfect for us.
Washing up facilities and a light in the toilet would be a good addition.
