Nice site to use as base for exploring North Norfolk with Cromer 20 minutes away and Sheringham 25 minutes and good beaches all the way to Kings Lynn. The Norfolk Broads too are also quite close but not visited by us so can't comment on the timing. There are also a couple of National Trust places close by too which are worth a visit.
North Walsham is the nearest town (8 minutes away) where these is a Lidl and local Morrisons in the town centre and a Waitrose just outside
David, the owner, was very responsive to emails and very welcoming
The site is small but perfectly formed with the emphasis on caravan camping as there was a good amount of water connection points for these
There is 1 toilet and shower which are spotlessly clean and I only had to queue once to use so that really isn't a problem.
There are a couple of things to mention if you are in a tent, firstly this site has trees and amorous pigeons so we had to brush a few bird droppings, sweet chestnuts, acorns, pine and larch cones from the roof every now and again which wasn't a big hassle but the biggest problem we faced was that it's not a hugely grassy site and with the dry spell we are having it meant that we were pitched on dirt and it was like living in a dust bowl.
If you are stopping in the next few weeks take some sort of trap mats with you or you will be forever sweeping dirt from the tent (it was so bad that the carpet didn't get put down).

We cannot understand why this site has got 10/10 rating as we were far from impressed with it and moved on a day early just to get away from it.
The good points.
Easy to find.
On a quite country lane.
Plenty of walks.
The bad points.
Only seen the owner once when he collected his pitch fees. I presume he was about at other times as the shower and toilet were kept clean.
1 shower and 1 toilet is inadequate when there are 7 units on site all wanting to use them.
The tent pitches were almost completely bare with hardly no grass at all which was the worst we had ever seen in our 40+ years of camping.

Superb campsite. My wife and I have been camping for many years and we have 3 sites on our list of "would go back to" 2 in France and 1 in the UK. We just added a 4th.
Warren Wood is small, very quiet, situated in the middle of farmland amongst a cluster of tree. We had some smoking hot days whilst we were here but the campsite was cool from the shade of the trees.
David is a superb campsite owner and visits the site twice a day and gives you tips on days out and can direct you to a decent fish and chip shop.
There is a local butcher about a mile away. Supermarket about 2 miles away, pub about a mile away.
Keep an eye out for hares and deer in the fields. In the woods surrounding the site there are sparrow hawks and a night bats. It's great.

Booking was easy and owner very friendly and informative. We were a bit stressed on arrival having met a school bus whilst towing on a single track road with nowhere for us to reverse.
Loved being able to cycle to Mundesley, would have liked more time to take the bikes on the train from nearby Gunton station.
The rustic facilities were adequate although I did make an engaged/vacant sign for the toilet and shower after being plunged into darkness.
The area is nice and peaceful most of the time but we really struggled with the low level military jets flying for hours on Mondays. We couldn't hear ourselves think so went out for a drive.
A lovely spot though and we'd definitely go again.

The site is the best I have been on
So quiet you lay in bed listening to owls
I can't find fault with anything
Where it is located is in the middle trees, hardly any traffic noise

Beautiful peaceful site - set in woodland in the heart of the countryside and 10 mins drive from the coast.
Very helpful owner who ensures you enjoy your stay.
1 toilet and 1 shower but sufficient for size of site.
We loved it and will definitely be back.
Excellent value for money.

We wanted a quiet dog friendly site in Norfolk so we could test our tent out before we head to a less quiet music festival end of the month, and this place is gorgeous.
Very peaceful, lots of nice trees, very clean toilet and the shower was great.
Lots of walking in the area, we will definitely be back.
The owner was really kind - we hadn’t brought the right electric fitting and he was quick to help.
Even the other campers were really friendly.
We slept really well.
