Wow, what a lovely place. A treasure of a site. Wonderful views, near to the town and the canal.

Our welcome greeting was excellent and the cleanliness of the place is just what we like.

We are keen to visit again in September.

I would like to see more signage with regards to recycling bins and further information about sites to see around the area, but I know this is in hand.

Visited early March 2026, quiet site only a short walk into Llangollen, the site looks a little under loved, quite a few pitches had shrubs left on the pitches after the trees had been cut

Also the gents toilet block was not very clean, no toilet roll. There are recycling bins but they were full of all sorts of rubbish, no recycling being separated

On a positive note, the location is great and it's dog friendly, price £40 we thought was a bit steep

Great location, facilities need updating, visited this site a few times now, and I must say it wasn't as I remember, looking very tired and in need of some TLC.

Didn't see anyone so we didn't really know where to pitch up, there are some cabins on site which are new, although a smell of smoke was very off putting

The location is perfect, just a shame it's not cared for. Don't think we'll be returning

We have a 7. 5 metre motorhome and managed the canal humpback bridge, sharp left turn and narrow access to the site.

The water tap is on the way in, but there's no motorhome waste disposal. It's an ideal location on the canal and walking distance to Llangollen.

The toilets are small; two toilets and one shower room, they're modern, but not heated although the showers were piping hot.

It was cold whilst we were there and snowing, the tap wouldn't work on our last day as it was frozen.

The site itself is small as are the pitches, they wouldn't all have fit our motorhome. It was pricey at £37. 50 per night.

The highlight though was the managing couple clearing the snow for us on the last morning, it suddenly came down thickly and very quickly, but they helped us out.

As described, the site is a short walk from the town centre. Access to the site over a bridge (almost hump backed) looked a bit tricky, with a tightish turn, but was fine for me and also the caravans, which were there. Some pitches will need leveling ramps, but not many.

It was definitely quiet, with us being the only ones there on that night. With all the recent rain, the gras areas were slightly muddy, which was only to be expected.

The toilet block was modern and very clean!

It was sheer luck that I spoke to someone and paid! As for the price, I usually pay club fee rates, so I don't know how here compares like for like. However, I've noticed everywhere, the proximity to the towns increases prices.

It's a handy place to stay, if visiting the area.

Great location, 20 monute walk into Llangollen, very peacefully and a sun trap.

Very well maintained facilities and very friendly staff.

Down side was the small pitches, very close to neighbours, and very tight entrance with humped back bridge, but worth it.

A lovely spot - right by the Llangollen Canal, just a short wander into the lovely town of Llangollen, with great canal walks and a Heritage Railway right on the doorstep.

Stayed an extra night.

Will definitely visit again.
