A very well kept and peaceful site all the better for being adult only!
Good size gravel pitches with hook up and water, no "facility block", but not an issue.
Path down to the river, which you can can fish if you want, with another field that the dogs could run in.
Very friendly and helpful owner and gave us some very fresh eggs to go with our fry up!
Great location, with some lovely scenery and really nice villages and towns nearby, loved Kippford and Kirkcudbright, Shreave, castle Douglas, definitely worth a visit too.
The town of Dalbeattie has pubs, takeaways, shops and most of what you might need, with a couple of big supermarkets just down the road in castle Douglas, so won't have to travel far.
If you want a chilled out, peaceful, friendly site, would definitely recommend it!

I was in my microcamper. No electric hook up required although it was available.
Site was clean. Owner welcoming.
Easy access to drinking water.
It felt safe as a solo traveller.
Nice countryside views

This was the first time we had been to the site and it won’t be the last.
Jason was there for us arriving and explained everything to us. The site is very well maintained.
Lovely walk to the river with the dog. Later on Jason brought us fresh eggs which we had for breakfast it was so kind of him.
What a lovely gesture. We shall return very soon.

Excellent Adults only site, hard standing with grass pitches. All well kept.
Short path to the river, a beautiful place to relax, picnic or fish.
Dog friendly, our dog loved going to the river for a dip in the hot weather.
A great base for exploring the surrounding area. Lots to see and do.

Just had a lovely stay at this hidden gem.
Ideally located for a base to travel to other places. It has a lovely fishing lake, paddle boarding and scenery.
Can't wait to come back.
Thanks, Ray and Julie

Our first visit to this site but hopefully not our last.
A little gem of an Adult Only site on the outskirts of Dalbeattie. Site is beautifully maintained and each hardstanding pitch has fantastic views to the surrounding countryside.
All pitches have electricity and water close at hand. There is access to the riverbank from the site where you can fish or just relax in one of the provided hammocks.

What a super find! An excellent site in a superb location.
All pitches are well spaced to take advantage of the views whilst maintaining privacy. Water and electric are immediately to hand.
The owners were most friendly and welcoming, with a pack of useful information and even a gift of a couple of fresh eggs for breakfast.
Dalbeattie is a 20 minute walk away with plenty of small shops and a garden centre which does good food and the area has some very nice places to visit like Kippford, Rockcliffe and Threeve Gardens.
Will certainly visit again.
