 What a lovely little site.
A clean site with just one toilet and shower for each gender. It was enough though as there were only about a dozen pitches if that.
20 minute walk into Sandbach.
Owner was really friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
Only negative, it wasn’t clear how to check in but it wasn’t a massive issue.

Really lovely little site used for several journey breaks while travelling to and from holiday destinations.
Basic but always very clean and tidy.
Friendly welcome from the owner.
Will stay again.
Super convenient for the M6 junction.

A neat and tidy site within very easy distance of the M6, we used it as a stopover from Edinburgh to the south.
We arrived mid afternoon, and paid in the morning.
Facilities good, not heated though! A sensor light comes on outside the toilets at night.
The entrance to the lane is missable - we missed it - but there's a small roundabout not far on to turn around. M6 is visible and noise continuous but not enough to be disturbing.
Theres a supermarket petrol station just as you come off the M6.
We will use again if travelling that way

Exellent stay, welcoming owners, very helpful
Good place for dogs to be and has a specimen fishing lake for night anglers and four more for coarse/ match fishing dawn till dusk well maintained site,
1 point deducted which is trivial as toilet facility needs lighting up, their was a security light that wasn't functioning and noticed some did trip on step going into block, Suggestion would be install a sensored night/ day led outside shower/toilet block I forgot to mention this and toilet paper kept vanishing after being stocked up. would prefer locked despenser types saves money and time for owners

First time staying here and thought how peaceful it was even though you could see the motorway in the distance.
With the fishing lakes came so much wildlife.
Facility why’s it was standard for this type of place.

We have used this site before as a stop over on our way north or south.
Perfectly suitable for a one night stop. We used the toilet but not the shower as it was too cold.
There was no toilet paper or hand paper towels.
It is a nice quiet location.
It is handy for the motorway.

Site is up a single track lane about 1/3rd of mile long. When you reach it, the first thing you see is 3 caravans, these are seasonal pitches facing the main fishing lake, continue past them and the CL is situated behind them. One washroom for ladies, one for gents.
Each contains shower, toilet and wash basin. Pot wash is sheltered on the side of the washrooms, CDP is located behind the first of the seasonal pitches.
Talking to Gavin the owner he warned us against taking van into the town as parking difficult.
Against his warning we took it and he was quite right, impossible to park, even a car would be difficult, impossible for a campervan.
We need up parking on the road halfway between site and town. Where all the car owners are is a mystery as there isn't that much to the town, although it's pleasant enough.

Excellent site. Spotless and owners couldn't be more helpful.
Very handy for access to M6.
Spent some time fishing on one of the 5 pools,
All in all very relaxing break.
Would recommend and will return.

A fantastic site for a stopover between our Highland home and visiting our south coast children’s homes.
Clean single toilet and shower, outside washing facility and great dog walks around the ponds.
Warm and helpful welcome from the owners.
Look forward to returning.
Two minutes from J17, M6 (and no vehicle noise), close by Co-op petrol and shop for anything forgotten.
