 Best view I could imagine. Perfect if you like water sports.
Relaxed and friendly site.
Loved the barrels used to hide the electrics, tap and down lighter.
A little expensive for no WiFi and a pound a shower.

Lovely campsite with everything you need and at a reasonable price.
Being off the main road it was quiet and there was easy access to the shore.
Excellent modern washroom/showers.

Had a dream stay at Tigh Na Mara. After big mileage on the motorcycle I found the perfect cure; that being a beautiful swim in that gorgeous cove right by the campsite.
Kathleen is a such a lovely host. It's so life affirming to meet such a kind individual. This is why we travel.

Ignore negative feedback on here and visit the site for yourself. Kathleen is a gem and looks after her site very well. I too am in the same area of business and can understand it all well.
The campsite, the beaches, they are all stunning and we need people like Kathleen and the locals to look after them the way they do.
All it takes is a couple of social media posts, relaxed rules and the stunning white sand beaches could easily become destroyed. We are proud of our Scottish beaches and if it wasn't for the locals of Mallaig to look after these and allow everyone to have the "right to roam" they wouldn't be here for us to enjoy their beauty.

Spent a week at the campsite
Booking was straightforward.
Toilets were clean as were showers. I did not mind paying a £1 for a shower as this ensured that you did not have to wait in a long queue for a shower as some people spend ages in the shower and use all the hot water! You get about 3 minutes for a £1, water was lovely and hot.
Views are amazing with sunsets to die for. Site was quiet at night no rowdiness
Perfect place to go if you are into water sports as beach is in your doorstep, plenty os walks for dogs
The owner Kathleen is lovely and very helpful, she’s done a fantastic job with the site

Really great site. Good location. Excellent beach access. Great for paddling. Good bathrooms.
Owner accessible by telephone. Number on the gate. No shops or food within walking distance, so take everything with you. No card facilities, so cash or bank transfer for payment.
Excellent views. Bad bits, midges, but that's not Kathleen's fault 😂

Fabulous site, brilliant location.
Very clean and modern toilet block. £1 coin needed for shower but they're hot and good pressure, 3 mins is plenty.
Only feedback I would give is a seat and divider in shower cubicle would be useful.
Host was lovey, great communication and very helpful.
We will definitely be back!

Lovely clean campsite in beautiful location by nice beach.
Facilities are newly built and owner is very friendly.
Fair distance from any shops (not a bad thing) but advisable to take anything with you that you need.

Stayed here in August during a very heavy rain storm. When it did clear the views were beautiful as we had expected with golden sands and blue water.
It is definitely a campsite if you are interested in canoeing/ kayaking /boating in general.
Not the easiest place to find but well worth the effort.
Kathleen the owner/supervisor was exceptionally helpful.
The facilities were functional but due to the weather a little mucky at times.
