Quiet site and location within easy walking distance of Llanwrst town and public transport.

The pitches are generous and beautifully maintained around with lawns and flowers. There’s a lovely grass field site too.

The showers are free with good hot water supply and the block was spotlessly clean. The showers are a little dated and small but their cleanliness far surpassed many more modern facilities experienced.

Washing up facilities equally clean and there are excellent recycling facilities. There is a separate area sink for clothes washing.

Young families might prefer the grass field pitches as there are play, ball/bike restrictions on the hard pitch area.

A lovely stay on a very peaceful site.

Sent enquiry form one evening giving my visit dates had reply the following day as available phoned up to book, a small but organized site

The toilet block had been cleaned every morning before we even got up

A separate camping field but we had 35 fully serviced pitches to choose from

You do get occasional RAF jets fly past but very fast like now you see them now you don't

The only criticism would be quite a narrow entrance but there was several big outfits on site.

The village within walking distance if fit but we drove but it has all the amenities but couldn't find a chip shop

Have stayed here before so came back to visit zip world.

Location in Llanwrst is fab. Away from the madness of Betws-y-Coed but close enough to pop down and visit other attractions. Bus stop close by. Co op in Llanwrst with good selection.

Nice walk and park area to explore. Really nice chilled place. Easily accessible by road for a caravan. A bit tight in Llanrwst and the entrance to site but otherwise all A roads/motorways.

Beautifully kept site- so pretty and relaxing. Pitches are large, fully serviced and pretty level. However they are now gravel hard standing, really well drained but the little stones get all over your awning and caravan.

Owner was responsive to enquiries and booking.

Washing facilities adequate, as people have said quite dated and a bit shabby in places but clean enough. 2 very tiny showers per gender. Great rubbish disposal. Separate your recycling. The area was clean and tidy no wasps flying about or nasty smells.

Fellow campers friendly. A lovely chilled vibe.

There is a small lawn for kids to play games but nothing else, the owner makes this clear. It’s not a noisy site or holiday park. Everyone was quiet at night.

We were told no bikes or scooters but saw a child riding one. Also my child trod in dog poo was in the kids field which was a shame. There is a separate dog walking area. There is a number of seasonal pitches.

You can hear a bit of road noise at night. It does go quiet but the odd noisy vehicle through the night.

There is WiFi but connection is poor in places. For £40 per night I would expect this to be better really given the lack of facilities, we stayed 8 years ago and prices have nearly doubled…. I’ve hammered my phone data as a result.

Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for a couple of nights, site kept very clean & tidy. We had a pitch in the back field, which was grassed & reasonably flat. Good spot to see all farm animals! Kept getting a visit from the chickens!

Location to nearby small town was a steady 15 minute walk, where there was a few shops, (Co-op) couple of pubs & we found a very nice restaurant.

Toilets & showers were kept very clean, push button shower with good hot water. All in all a pleasant stay, thanks

This site is beautifully kept - manicured lawns, lovely flowerbeds BUT the toilets and showers are closed for no good reason other than the owner prefers paying gardeners rather than a cleaner I presume!

All the other local sites have their facilities open and to add insult to injury clients are still being charged the full price!

There are no legal restrictions, everyone was very sensible, it was extremely frustrating.

This a is a nice site, I’m sure in the summer it looks lovely, the grounds are well kept.

Access is good despite one entrance being closed due to flood damage.

Its close to the town which has a co-op, Indian restaurant and an excellent fast food restaurant, along with other small antique and general shops. Obviously well sited for walking.

The site is let down by the very dated shower block, I see the reviews in 2017 said it was in need of an update, in 2020 they have not been updated.

I showered at 2pm, the shower block was very cold with no heating on, I had to pay 20p to dry my hair, and the shower cubicle was the smallest I have ever seen, with a shower curtain only covering half of the shower. There are two showers, the one I used had a lockable door, the other one just a curtain.

They are indeed clean, but at £24. 00 a night I would expect a heated shower block.

The dishwashing area is good apart from like the rest of the amenities, the push button hot tap,

There are two separate disabled showers, with big signs on them saying for disabled people only. I don’t know if they were heated.

Looking on the website the cost in the summer is £28. 50 per night, for a caravan, awning and a dog, although the pitches are well sized and I’m sure the site looks lovely, given the state of the facilities and that there are 5 star sites nearby at a similar cost, I think this site is too expensive.

This is a very nice, smallish site just on the edge of Llanrwst, itself a very small town and easy to walk into, or to go on walks from (which we did).

The site is beautifully laid out with flowers at the edges and in the middle. We were pitched next to a pretty small stream.

The price is very reasonable and the facilities everything you could need, although, as has been noted by others, the toilet and shower block, while adequate, is in need of updating from its current 1970's feel and design

What a lovely little site. Our first time stopping there. The site itself was well kept and very pretty. The dog walk is fantastic - it's secure so can let the dogs off lead. There is a separate field area for children. Toilet and shower block was always spotless but is in need of updating. Staff were friendly. All pitches were serviced and there were a mixture of both grass and hard standing areas. There was also an area for tents. Short walk into the town and to the railway station. We will certainly be back

We have just returned from a 2 night break, we had a mix of weather but even with torrential rain the ground drained very well. The camping pitch sizes are very large, 16 amp Electric hook up great, toilet block immaculate, the whole site is very well looked after by the owners.

All of the people we met were very friendly and responsible for the effects of there own actions either by leaving the toilet areas as they found them and not being noisy.

Being just off the main road access is very good for campers and caravans

We would certainly return.

Good chippy and shops in the village

Lovely peaceful site, scrupulously clean and very well- kept. Even the recycling and refuse area is attractively hidden behind honeysuckle!

The toilet block is perhaps a little dated but that is a minor quibble as the facilities are so immaculately clean. There are only two showers each for ladies and gents (plus a purpose built block for people with disabilities I think - saw the block but didn't investigate closer so best to check when booking if this is a requirement) but it didn't seem to be a problem. We were there for three nights and never had to wait for a shower. Plus, the showers are free and the hot water never seems to run out.

Pitches are well spaced and level, and there are ample power and water points. There's a nice meadow set aside for ball games etc.

Ducks and chickens were mooching around in a field, and their eggs were for sale on site.

The site sits between two roads so access is easy. We didn't notice the road noise either. There are no shops right by the site, but it's an easy stroll into the town.
