This is our goto site when we are visiting near London. It's probably the best site for anyone who wants to be able to visit all the attractions from London area. Chessington, Thorpe park, Legoland all within easy distances from site.
Other places are Windsor castle, Hampton court Palace, Kew Gardens, Kensington Palace to name a few.
Martin Cooper, the site manager is fantastic, he will give you any and all the help and information that you need on almost all the things to do in the area.
And the site is quiet and peaceful with the River Mole running along side the bottom field. We have seen plenty of wildlife on our stays from foxes to deer, and most mornings the local flock of wild parakeets can by seen feeding on the fruit trees and the bird feeders in the garden by the owners house.
I have been camping and caravaning for 60 years now and so when I recommend a site it has got to be something special. This is one of these sites. 5 stars all day long

This is our 3rd visit To this wonderful place, where Martin meets you at the entrance gate on your arrival, and gets you settled into your pitch.
As stated this is a water, EHU and chemical waste disposal which includes normal and recycling bins site. The site has plenty of wildlife including the local deer, foxes and parakeets to name just a few.
This site is ideal for family's visiting Chessington World, Thorpe theme park and Legoland.
Travelling into London is easy either by car, train, bus or tube and Martin is always there to help you with travel information. There are plenty of National trust sites in the area. You are also not far away from Windsor castle. Hampton court Palace and Royal botanic gardens Kew to name a few.
Besides doing all of the above we still managed to have some lovely relaxing days on the site either sunbathing or strolling around down by the river at the bottom of the field. Next door to the site is an Equestrian centre where you get to see plenty of horses.
Shops, pubs and eateries close by.
Everyone will feel welcome I'm sure when going to Willow tree farm Hersham.
5 stars all day long.

After booking with Martin we were kept informed of all directions and facilities available.
Upon arrival we were greeted at the Electric gates and let on site by Martin. We had a hard standing with hook up and water. We told Martin we had come to visit the Hampton Court Flower Show.
He then disappeared and came back with all the bus times and local taxi numbers. On the day of the show Martin gave us a lift to the required bus stop, unbelievable service(vip in fact 😁)
On our next day we biked to Walton on Thames, following from here along the Thames river bank was as great interesting ride with all the House boats, islands and very large properties.
Martin is the best site host we have come across and will be visiting again to explore the area even more.
Highly recommended

Great little CL site for Central London visit. 35 mins by train from local station to central London.
Martin was incredibly welcoming and helpful.
Peace slightly disrupted by Heathrow flight path noise- but to be expected within M25 ring.
Delighted to recommend and will use again.

Willow Tree is a delightful site tucked away in a quiet location yet within easy reach of public transport.
Martin the owner is friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble during our two night stay.
There is an abundance of wildlife and the facilities are spotless and well cared for.
We will definitely return when we are in the area again. Thank you for your hospitality Martin.

What a great experience from booking until we left,
Martin the owner was fantastic when I booked I asked about how far public transport links are and when we arrived Martin gave directions to the local train station and bus stops
Asked where planned to go then the following morning he had printed off local bus times so we had the information to hand, this is just a small example of how attentive he was to ensure that we had a great time staying at his site.
When we arrived he was waiting at the gate for us showing how to operate the electronic gate and showed us our pitch, drinking water and waste disposal and asked if we needed milk.
As others have said the site is both extremely tranquil and excellently located for attractions and local facilities,
We observed foxes playing only a few feet from the front of our caravan and say green woodpeckers, kestrels with young on a nest and even a couple of parakeets among other wildlife,
Our 4 year old loved watching the horses that were at the stables behind the site and the planes that flew overhead from Heathrow which as another reviewer mentioned were not obtrusive.
Martin says he doesn’t like to book to many units onto the site even though there is mores than enough room for more,
The site has a lot more area in addition to the pitches with the ehu
There’s a large grassed area which gave plenty of room for my little one to have a run around and fly his kite
Also there’s the river Mole which runs pass the bottom of the site but was far enough away for us to not worry about him going near without us.
There’s a Lidl not far from the site for essentials and the nearby garage has a 24hr Revolution Laundry the ones with a standard and large washer and a large drier,
The bus stops are a 13 minute walk from the site where we caught a bus to Kingston and then the train into London for the day although there was a train station in Hersham it is outside the oyster zone.
This is such a lovely site and location that we will be returning as there’s so much to explore locally and easily accessible for days out further afield,
I would happily recommend this site.

What a gem of a site! You'd never know you were on the edge of a major city, it is so quiet and peaceful.
The owner, Martin is a lovely man who can't do enough to help and his 80 year old mother is a treasure - both so friendly and helpful.
I really can't understand why others have knocked off a star or 2 for limited facilities. If you want toilets, showers and hard standings, you should go to a bigger site. This is a CL for goodness sake!
We will definitely come back when in the area again, and I can thoroughly recommend this campsite.

Arriving at this beautiful site the first thing you see is the lovely fishing lake. I fished for three days and had a couple of double figure carp out. The owner is a lovely friendly person that can't do enough for you. I was fishing and caught a carp but had no scales with me Anne the owner went and fetched me some scales she had in the garage. I would highly recommend this site
