Site very peaceful, nicely laid out & easy to find, down a short track away from main road.

20 min walk to Hingham White Hart pub & village.

Lovely, friendly owners.

Facilities well maintained & clean although my husband couldn't find hand drying facilities in mens toilet?

Lovely area for wildlife in their grounds & two small ponds with dedicated fishing swims.

Electric is metered and for 1 night stay, cost us £1. 92 which we thought was very reasonable.

We would highly recommend this camp site and would certainly return.

Good site, quiet and clean. Will rate 9/10, but, no directions to get to this site,

Best approach from west is via Watton, very little site info on arrival, eg where the Elsan point was,

Finally, electric use is metered and payable at end of stay, we have never come across this arrangement before, would prefer an upfront, all in price, this would be much clearer.

But we did have a great stay

What a very nice quiet site. This is an adult only site with two lakes for fishing,

The owners Chris and Richard are very conscious of the need to protect and encourage wildlife and leave areas to flourish meaning this is not a manicured prim and proper looking site.

The showers and toilets are a bit rustic but clean, as there are only two or three of each I imagine if too many people are on site without their own facilities it could get very busy.

They sell their own pork and sausages, the pork chops were delicious.

Hingham village which is about a 15 minute walk has an amazing tea room and if you happen to be gf they are great, the breakfast and cake was delicious, there is also a Butcher, convenience store and fish and chip shop.

At £22 per night plus electric which is metered at 30p a unit and paid for at the end of your stay ( our electric cost £15 for 5 nights inc heating) I think it's excellent value for money.

Spent two nights here with friends and as usual Richard was always helpful and nothing is to much trouble if he can help.

During a heavy rainstorm one friends tent leaked very badly, Richard came straight out with a tarp to cover her tent and checked she was OK. We will be going back again next year.

Showers are clean and waters hot. There's a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, microwaves and fridges and freezers.

Also some nice walks and the village of Hingham is a short walk away.

It's definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic site - very quiet except for a loud Scottish woman in a Motorhome !

Beautifully clean toilets. 2 showers. Great facilities available washing machine, washing up area. Couldn’t want for more.

Richard who greeted us couldn’t have been more helpful. It’s about 35 mins into Norwich.

Hopefully the field next to them won’t be built on all the way up to their farm as it’s such a beautiful area.

Rectory Farm and Fishery in Hingham

I and my family along with our three rescue dogs came here to try out camping for the first time. The brothers that run the site were so very helpful in finding us a pitch that was in shade for the dogs.

Pitches are available for electric hook up, or without and are very reasonably priced. There is also wifi. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and they were always around somewhere if we needed them.

The lakes and wildlife are wonderful, fish leaping and ducks and chickens sitting beside fishermen as they enjoyed the peace and quiet. Wild flower meadows surround the site with beautifully mown dog walks meandering through the stunning Bee Orchids.

There are Immaculate facilities that include a room with fridge freezers, microwave and sink and very clean toilets and showers.

The village of Hingham is within a walkable distance and very quaint, there is a supermarket and pub and small shops and eateries if that is what you want.

At night we sat by a fire tumbler provided and enjoyed our BBQ, it was a great stay

We will certainly be returning !

The site is an excellent site, well sited for touring the Norfolk countryside and coast.

If you are into bird watching there are plenty of places within a short drive Also in easy reach is Blakeney where you can take a boat ride to view the seals.

The site is an adult only site with two well stocked lakes. The owners always give you a warm welcome and are available to solve any problems and give advice on places to visit.

Once visited you will be coming again and again as many visitors do.

Our second year at this site. A warm welcome always awaits you from Richard. Nothing seems too much bother to him and is always on hand. A quiete site, just right to unwind and relax

The site is clean and well kept. There is always plenty of hot water for showers and washing up, there are also a washing machine a tumble dryer, which we found useful as we had travelled from a site in north Wales and it saved us packing lots of clothes.

The` site is within easy reach of the nature reserves on the Norfolk coast which are well worth a visit. Also Blackeney point is close and you can take a boat trip to see the Seals. Many of the local towns have market days including Great Yarmouth which is only an hours drive.

For the steam enthusiast there is the steam railway in Wymondham.

All in all this is a great site for those wishing a leisurely holiday
