 Easy to find, easy access, spacious, close to town and beaches.
Nice toilet/shower block.
Very peaceful in March, had site to ourselves and the sun shone.

I have stayed here a few times and with my children when they were younger.
Beautiful site very quiet and peaceful.
Good clean facilities.
Owner is very responsive to messages and helpful. Checks you are ok and leaves you to enjoy your stay.
Picnic benches at every pitch and hardstandings for motorhomes and caravans.

An excellent certificated site with good basic facilities.
We don’t tend to use the shower block facilities at sites since the pandemic but the ones here looked clean and well presented.
We chose the site for its remote location, near bonfire night, as we have a pet dog and wanted to be somewhere quiet.
Its also very close to beaches and the city of Hull, where our daughter lives.
Chimney Fields Road is quite busy during the day but fairly quiet during the night.
Its very likely we would use the site again.

Excellent quiet country site with 4 hardstandings, electric hookup and toilet and shower facilities.
Great for Withernsea and this area of East Coast.

Once again we had a week and a couple of weekends in the school holidays here and were met on each occasion with open arms and a BIG HUG from mike bless him.
Everything was immaculate as always as the site is well maintained. Kids loved it as they always do and look forward to coming here every year so don't be surprised when we gate crash again next year.

Have just had a totally relaxing bank holiday break at this lovely site with our 2 young children. The site is accessed from a country lane onto a long driveway then into the field it was so peaceful just the occasional tractor going down the lane, lovely views across open fields and the beach only 5 minutes drive, the kids loved it! There are two gates which made the field very secure so we had no worry's with the children playing outside. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and always on hand if we needed anything, the toilet and shower were immaculate. Have already booked to go back ! Thank you Mike and Ellen.

We used this for two nights in the summer of 2014, the people were very friendly and helpful when we booked and arrived, it's a few miles away from Withernsea and is basically just an oblong field with a small toilet and shower block in the corner which although clean is very basic. There's also no hot water to wash up with though.
Don't expect wonderful views, a local pub to spend a summers night in or a lovely quiet secluded spot with ducks and butterfly's to watch as its next to a main road with traffic, it's also not very secure as there's no gate or long lane to follow along, you literally pull off the road on to the field.
Although as I said the people were there when we arrived and left there was nobody about for the rest of the time, they had the cheek to make us feel they were helping us out by 'allowing' us to use their facilities even though we weren't Caravan Club members, to be fair if it's an approved Caravan Club site then anyone can make money in this game!
There's nothing on the site except the small toilet block so if you want one which is child friendly then keep clicking.
I might sound like we had a bad experience but we DIDN'T, it was OK for what we needed, the toilets etc are clean but we were the only daft ones on the site as it had rained heavily beforehand.

We recently stayed at this site for one night in our little two man tent and we had a wonderful stay and could not fault the site and owners in any way what so ever.
Before even getting to the site the owners prompt emails and politeness already got our hopes up - and they were just as pleasant and helpful in person. Very polite and welcoming!
Toilet and shower facilities were great, they were very clean and tidy! Lovely area and the owners told us how to get to Withernsea beach and where the local pubs/towns were etc.
We were sad to have only been there for one night and are now already planning a longer trip there.
Highly recommended!
