 Brilliant brilliant brilliant no other word for it.
Good location easy to find good directions provided.
Clean well presented value for money hope many more sites are like this one

Just spent 7 nights at this lovely site. Was pleasantly surprised at how good this site is. The type of site you don't want to tell anybody about in case its to busy when you want to book it. But that would be mean.
The site owners David and Julie are a fantastic couple couldn't be more welcoming. As other reviewers have already commented on the level pitches and excellent clean toilet block with hot showers I second that.
The grass around the hard standings is kept short and tidy also its well situated for touring the lakes as we did every day. Access to the motorway is close by and easy to find. There is a little noise from the motorway but we never got disturbed by it at all.
Also well suited for a stopover either going up or down past Penrith. Not far from Penrith for supplies and there is a Local pub serving really good grub not to far up the road.

Stayed for 4 nights in this little gem of a site. Hard standing pitches and all amenities on pitch. Two beautifully equipped toilets /showers. Site easy to find just off motorway but little or no vehicle noise.
Close enough to the lakes and all its attractions. On a nice little farm. Owners very pleasant and helpful.
Highly recommend a visit if your up that way.

Spent I night here on the way south. So convenient for motorway. Great site, facilities would put some larger sites to shame. Will be going back for longer the next time as handy for Lakes etc.
The owners are the best customer related people you could ever meet, looking in on us that night to ensure everything was ok.

Booked into this brand new CL for a couple of nights due to very handy location just off jnc. 41 of the M6 and literally only a few minutes drive into Penrith. The CL, facilities and welcome from the friendly owners meant we ended up staying a whole week and did not want to leave. Perfect touring base for northern lakes and Eden valley. Level site with all hardstanding pitches but with the ability to peg awning on the grass if you wish (as I did). The best on site CL facilities we have ever seen including hookup and water tap to all pitches, superb toilet block with two heated 'state of the art' family sized shower rooms complete with granite sinks etc. Open aspect around the CL overlooking the owners farmland along with entertaining young cows on all sides. Very handy for the M6 but do not worry about road noise as the motorway is in a deep cutting lined with trees several hundred metres away and background noise is not intrusive in a caravan. You will be glad you stayed here and with full facilities you can stay as long as you like and all for £15 per night including hookup.
