Have just returned from a great bank holiday weekend at Hillcrest!
:0) Small'ish, quiet and very relaxed site
:0) Very clean showers, WC's and washing up area
:0) Own choice of available pitches on arrival
:0) Electrical hookup's if wanted
:0) Easy to find off A36
:0) Nice attention to detail e.g hand lotion in ladies, selection of books & games to borrow, small iron and ironing board in laundry/washup area
:0) Mostly level ground in well maintained fields
:0) Even on busiest weekend of year was space to move and play games etc
:0) Made very welcome by Stella
:0( Road noise from A36 is quite loud but only really noticable at night and did not affect our enjoyment or stop us from sleeping
:0( An additional shower instead of the separate washrooms would be nice
All in all excellant site, excellent value for money.we had additional family members spend a day with us and they decided to stay over which wasn't a problem for Stella and we simply paid the additional fee - easy! We will definitely be back.

This is a nice little site just outside the New Forest and on the way to Salisbury. It's off quite a busy main road but we invested in some ear plugs and we were sorted. The toilets and showers were really clean and not far away from anywhere on the site. The ladies even had nice pictures and hand lotion (and daisy toilet seats!) which all made it feel very homely! There are footpaths into the village through the back of the site and there's a Tescos in Salisbury about 10 minutes drive away. Nothing bad to say about it at all!
