 This was my first visit to a CS site and I was impressed.
First the negative, yes it is close to a very busy road. If you are a light sleeper this may not be the site for you. But against that you can still hear the birds, see bats flying at night and a short walk and a bit of luck as we had you may even come across some deer. It is also well placed for local places such as Wareham, Corfe and Swanage.
There were about 15 units on site when we were there but there was still plenty of space and you didn't feel cramped. As it is a CS site there where 2 toilets each for both men and women and 1 shower only. However this did not seem to be a problem. The toilets were cleaned on a daily basis and while there may have been a few cobwebs I think in added to the charm.
The owners where the friendliest I have come across so far. Helpful when booking by phone. We where shown to our pitch upon arrival and told to pay when we were settled in. On our day of departure they came round and checked everything was ok and wished us a safe journey.
This site may not be to everyones tastes but I enjoyed my stay and will return again.

We have just returned from a 2 night break at this site. It was the 1st time we had tried out a certificated site and I must say we were very impressed. Nice friendly and welcoming owners. Owners let us stay on the site a little longer on the day of departure as they were not expecting any more units in on that day.
The loo's and shower were basic but very clean. As other's have reported there is noise from the main road, although this would not put us off returning to this lovely site. Nice location for Corfe Castle village and Swanage etc.

Excellent C&CC Certificated site ideal base for the Swanage area. Surrounded by mature trees and a beautiful thatched cottage. A little too close to the A351 hence constant traffic noise but clean basic toilet & shower facilities and friendly owners made for a pleasant five night stay last week.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Pleasant, level, well maintained site. Good sized pitches. Friendly owners.
Good toilet / shower facilities (2 toilets for male / 2 for females 1 shower) - cleaned daily.
Great access to footpaths - close to Corfe Castle.
Only downside is that the site is very close to the A351 so expect road noise from 6am.
