As good as ever, new management but the site remains well cared for with good facilities, large camping fields etc.
I did not use electricity but they have plenty of power hook-ups.
Pub on site provides sumptious meals.
5 minute walk from Ford station with plenty of trains to Bognor, Littlehampton, Brighton, Portsmouth, Southampton, London etc as well as nearby Arundel.

The campsite is very well kept - freshly mown grass, very green and lovely natural zones created by reed edging etc. And the communal areas were spotless.
The campsite is located in a great spot, 1 minute from the riverside footpath that goes all the way to Arundel (about an hour’s walk). Stunning views all the way.
The only noise is the train, but it certainly wasn’t bothering anyone. It is a shame that the pub doesn’t have a view of the river/marina though.
If I were them, I would be tempted to build a structure outside that allowed customers to sit, looking at the view.
The adjoining pub is the only thing that lets the campsite down.
The staff are all super friendly and efficient though and it can’t be faulted that way, but the food really isn’t good. It seems like cheap/frozen/tinned ingredients - and when we were there, they had run out of 3 of there 8 mains (the 3 my family wanted) despite there being so few customers there at that stage. Perhaps they had had a busy day.
The menu is great but quality of the food does just let it down. It wouldn’t stop me going back to the campsite though.
A good experience overall.

Lovely campsite perfectly positioned near the river Arun, a couple of mins from the site brings you to the river where you can walk to Arundel or LittleHampton.
Ford station is 5-10 mins easy walk with frequent trains also.
The on site pub serves great food, run by a very friendly couple and live music on a Sunday evening.
Site facilities are kept very clean, plenty of hot water for washing up, showers and a bath!.
Run by a lovely friendly young lady and a nice guy.
Small shop selling a few things plus ice cream. A good children's playground

What a gem of a site: all you need for a quick get away. Play park for children, basic pub and electric hook up.
The owner couple were incredibly helpful and loaned us free of charge their electric hook up cable and went out their way to ensure we had the best stay.
No over the top rules and chilled vibe. Will definitely be returning.

Although the weather was not kind, the reception from the campsite was warm and welcoming! They had allocated the pitch prior to our arrival and despite the torrential rain we easily got off the pitch at the end of our stay.
The site has a good pub, with food about 10 yards from the site.
The river walk is easily accessed and for the able bodied you can walk to Arundel or Littlehampton.
We took the train to Arundel, that run every 30 minutes and had a good day at this beautiful historic town.
The camper van next to us started their onboard log burner and the site owners of the site phoned us to check if we wanted to get them moved (we didn't) but what stunning service!
The facilities are old, but fully functional and spotlessly clean, for a fraction of the costs of the likes of the Caravan Club sites, give it a go!
You can do the castle, or Ford Market or even a trip on a boat or hire a boat to travel up the Arun!
Definitely worth a stay, at very reasonable prices.

The Ship & Anchor is in our local town and was perfect for giving a caravan a test weekend before our first upcoming trip away.
Nat & Colin meet us upon arrival with a very warm welcome and explained the basics to us.
The facilities are immaculately clean, plenty of showers (50p per token) with ample hot water and to my wife’s amazement the ladies facilities even includes a bath tub.
Even though it’s not include on the facilities there is chemical disposal on site.
On the Saturday we had a meal in the on site free house pub which was very good, bar staff and waiting staff very attentive and welcoming.
The menu covers the good old pub classics which are all freshly cooked to order.
Our food came out in 30 mins even though they advised the kitchen was busy, very generous portion and piping hot.
A very good selection of ales on pump as well.
The pub has entertainment most weekends from karaoke to live bands.
We will certainly be returning again for another weekend at the Ship & Anchor.

As newbies to campervanning we greatly appreciated how Colin and Nat helped us with the basics getting setup etc.
The facilities were kept very clean. Some reviews say the toilet/shower block are dated. True, but they were clean and functional which was important to us. We were informed about tokens being needed to be purchased for the showers when we booked, so that wasn't a concern.
Being located near the river we enjoyed walks and also a trip into Arundel from Ford station approx 10mins walk from the site.
The Ship and Anchor pub was friendly and we had a nice evening meal there.
We will use the site again.

Great site - clean and well maintained.
Lots of useful extra information was provided eg times the restaurant would be open, tide times for kayak access.
There is an hourly train service from Ford station, which is very close by. We took the bikes on the train to Amberley to spend the day cycling in that area.
Arundel Saturday market was great.

Quiet, well maintained site.
Helen was friendly and gave a comprehensive tour of the site and facilities.
Facilities were clean and the showers were great.
We didn't eat at the pub as the latest booking was too early for us, so we just had a drink and ordered a takeaway to be delivered.

Great location! Lovely and peaceful, but near to the station, with easy access to near and far towns.
Will definitely return,
Well done to Helen for maintaining a clean and pleasant site.
