Good communication previsit from owners with clear instruction of how to get there & a keysafe allowing us to get our keys immediately on arrival. Greeted as we arrived by one owner so a warm welcome, the caravan set in its own pitch with decking area & use of seating with additional seats & pads, umbrella & airing rack in plastic garage on deck, caravan is very well equipped with everything you would need provided, you just needed to bring your towels & food! Beautifully finished high quality 2 bedroom caravan with additional sleep accomodation in the lounge all very comfortable & lovely touches with a snuggle blanket each, although there is heating we didn't need it as was a scorcher when we were there, Tv was great with Freesat which gave us the opportunity to introduce our children to Wonder Woman for the 1st time! The caravan is set in the corner of the camp site with its own parking spot & additional spot for visitors for a small charge, the caravan is set up against a fence & next to a bush which adjoins onto the local pub garden, we had several nights out on the decking with noise coming from the pub garden but it's in no way a disturbance, although we did not attend the pub it seemed a nice local, the decking could benefit from some lighting for evening as the light was at the other end of the caravan, and it might be nice to have a patio heater (maybe a hire option like the BBQ) The area is just lovely with the site set right next to the beach so we spent a few days there with the children enjoying swimming, the beach is predominantly pebble with sand when the tide goes out, good for swimming & water sports with no undercurrents to worry about, small beach cafe & a short walk from caravan to plenty of shops & restaurants, we didn't use any of these apart from Pizza place but we didn't rate the pizza & the kebab meat gave me awful heartburn, we would of had chips Sunday night instead of pizza but they weren't open til Tue, there is another set of shops further up & Asda & Sainsburys very close by on the A259. Overall we were very pleased with the caravan, service & area, having come from Sussex it was lovely to use as a base to visit family & revisit lots of the local area, East Preston is a lovely place & somewhere we would definitely come back to again. Highly recommended site

This is one of the most beautifully kept sites we have visited.

East Preston is a gem of a place and this site is wonderfully positioned, right next to the beach.

The owners are lovely and take a real pride in making sure the site is clean and your stay is perfect.

There is a small toilet block with washing facilities, all immaculately kept.

The village has everything you could wish for, cafes, pubs, restaurants, takeaways etc

We took the dogs on lots of lovely walks both on the beach and on the South Downs and found some wonderful cafes and pubs, all very dog friendly.

We look forward to returning very soon

Coastal Caravan Park is a gem, as it is virtually on the beach of E Preston. I can't fault it. The owner is hard working and one of the most welcoming hosts I've yet to meet.

Every aspect is well managed and it is also a safe and secure site.

There is also a friendly pub, next door, and the owners of the local store: Danny & Twinkle couldn't be more helpful. Next door to their store is a vibrant café and, opposite, down a side street is an excellent delicatessen 'The Clock Tower Deli' offering a well-sourced range of foods / fresh bread / wines and spirits.
