 This is a fantastic site, as previously mentioned Graham and Andrea are just the best owners, always time for a chat and helpful advice etc, in their absence on our arrival we were warmly met by their daughter Hanna. The pitches are really generous, toilet block is immaculate and the view is brilliant, basically it's a sheep farm with stabling and horse/rider training ring, lovely to hear and see the sheep grazing. We stayed for a week and I wish we could have stayed longer. Met two lovely couples who stayed over the same time and I think we all agreed how great the site was. Although this is a brand new site it feels like it's been established for years as they've done such a great job, no surprise really as they caravan themselves and Graham is a bit of a perfectionist, the site is all to grass though plans are already set for a hard road for next year. We'll definitely be back.
The grass is well maintained as is the whole camping area. There are 2 pubs within a short driving distance and you are only a 5 minute drive from Shaftesbury. The site itself is probably more suited to adults, trains can be heard as the railway line is right next to the farm but this is no great distraction.

What a great CL site! Quiet and picturesque with very friendly owners who made us feel very welcome. Modern, very clean toilets and showers, washing up area, with each large pitch having electricity and water. Shaftesbury is a few miles away with a range of shops, pubs and restaurants and the famous Gold Hill. This new CL site is a little gem and we will be back in September!
