From 2012 Poulton Plaiz now offers pitches for seasonal touring caravans. Pitches are available from 1st March to 31st October

A good clean site close to Blackpool. The pitches were good and flat, toilets and showers very clean with plenty of hot water. I liked the barrier which gave added security to the site. However on the down side there was quite a lot of traffic noise. I would possibly go again but only to use as a base when visiting Blackpool.

Fortunately this little site was great. I found it to be clean and tidy and a no-nonsence site. Staff where friendly and helpful, even taking you to your pitch. The drainage is very good and they didn't pack people in like sardines. There is no entertainment but some pubs are not far away. Some louts however in a tent were having a late night noisy party until "well after 1am" but it seems where kicked off the site the morning after much to the relief of everybody nearby! The "Mira" showers where great and very clean. I experienced no waiting for the showers on all three days. The site has a little shop that was a little short on provisions however Polton town centre is only just over a mile away. There is a great course fishing pond on the site that has some seriously big fish in it! Fishing costs £2. 50 a day for a permit and you need your NRA licence. The dog walk area is well away from the site. Overall we really enjoyed the stay at the site and are booking again for 2004!
