1 Reviews of the EOS 6 Polycotton

By: Safeway56  Reason: I own(ed) one  Made in: 2009   Rating:

Quite a lot bigger than it looks in the picture. The first thing I look for in a tent these days is a SIG, which this tent has. It's advertised as a six berth but as usual the manufacturer, in my opinion, overstates it's capacity, it's a comfortable four berth. Being polycotton it has the usual advantages over polyester in that it is cooler when on the odd occasion the weather is hot and does not flap about in robust winds.

On one of the camping days it rained hard all day but the tent remained completely dry inside. It has the usual storage pockets in the inner tents. The tent came with the inners already attached so it goes up *in one*. If it's too heavy for you the inners will detatch to make it easier. It's definitely, at least, a two person tent to erect on account of the very long main poles which needs a person stood inside to form the arch. I bought it from Amazon for 207 pounds but the same tent on Amazon is now going for over 400 pounds which I would think twice about paying but for what I paid for it I consider it to be a bargain. It can still be had for a bargain price but you'd have to do a little Googling.
