2 Reviews of the Phad X2

This is an absolutely fab little tent. Very quick and easy to pitch and take down. It is 2 man but as with most '2 man' tents they are a snug fit with 2 people and all your gear. The porch area is great for dirty boots and cooking from if the weather is not so good and the detachable ground sheet is a good idea. Though rain can get in the porch so you don't want to leave anything in it that you want to keep dry.

The high hydrostatic rating is usually only found on much bigger tents. Packs up really small into a generous sized bag, often mistaken for a sleeping bag it is that compact. Has steel poles for extra stability.

You can't go wrong if you are looking for a light weight tent that is compact and great to use. It has never failed us in wind/rain or shine!

Really happy with this tent.

A good size and weight for easy carrying/backpacking but relatively roomy for a two-man. Simple to put up, simple to take down and it packs very easily into the bag, which has an elasticated outer pocket and a useful carrying strap.

This tent has held up well to rain and wind. Used many times and still in good condition, very sturdy construction. I love the pegs, dinky but strong. Fluorescent guy-ropes are a sensible feature too. Porch ground sheet is detachable, for easy cleaning or can be used separately.

I like it being a little bit 'different' in shape and colour - makes it easy to find in a crowded camp-site.

Overall, a very useful tent which has proved good value for money.
