Brilliant tent stays dry in any weather & very stable in very windy conditions as we’ve found out on many occasions.Spacious very quick and easy to errect even for a person of many years .Had a rod tent this is ten times better.Would highly recommend.Great blacked out rear bedrooms lots of room in tent centre enough for another bedroom .

We absolutely love this tent.

It's a beast, huge, so much space for all our gear, children's toys, kitchen etc.

The polycotton is absolutely lovely, robust, quiet, 100% waterproof, even in our first rain. What's more, it feels like it will last forever, unlike our previous polyester tent which started to give way at various seams after only a few seasons.

The air tent construction is super strong too, in a storm that saw more than one of our neighbouring tents collapse, our boys slept through the night and this tent was going strong in the morning.

One slight downside is the size/weight of the pack, but the inconvenience is worth it for the comfort offered when it's up.

Feeling excited about the fact that it's April so it's time to get it unpacked again soon.

100% recommend!

Family glamping at scale.

So to keep the OH happy I had to make a few concessions, travel cot for the baby, electric hookup, heater (if needed), microwave, room for the kids to play in poor weather and space for a night time toilet.

Hence I ended up with a large 3 bedroom tunnel tent. Initially I wasn't looking at poly cotton due to cost, however with end of season pricing and cashback the tent was actually cheaper than non poly cotton versions.

I really wanted air so my OH can supervise the very young children while I erect or packup the tent. This works well. After a little practice, I can have the tent inflated in around 10 minutes and guyed out in another 15 mins, however once inflated the OH and children can start to move in. Packing away is also 10-15 mins now I have the hang of the folding pre-roll and that's on my own.

We had a little leakage the first time the tent was wet, but after that, not a single drip of water despite persistent rain at times.

The layout works well with a good size internal area and a useful canopy. This allowed us to have a benches stools inside while still having space for a couple of camping chairs.

One annoyance is that the canopy door slopes so much, it's a little awkward getting the to zip, however there is no easy design fix for that.

I did have an issue with the inner door closure which seems to be linked to one of the air beams twisting. I've swapped this beam with the rear and now all is fine.

No evidence of condensation except on the PVC windows which will always happen. Actually most on the outside with minimal inside. This is easily removed with a towel and then dries quickly.

The new model has zip up curtains and darkened bedrooms which I would have liked, however at the price the 2017 model was a bargain.

Overall, very happy with the size, layout and performance of the tent.

Now if only manufactures would allow the models to run a few years all would be perfect. I'm considering a canopy, however the colour changed after 1 year.

Having only pitched this tent once so far and on a glorious bank holiday weekend I can't comment on the weatherproofing but first impressions are what a great tent.

We bought our tent in late 2017 but due to its size and the weather we weren't able to do a test pitch so I was a little wary when we turned up on site with no clue other than a couple of previously watched youtube videos to help us. The tent inflated easily and quickly with the included pump and only a few pumps were required for each tube (my 8yr old son even inflated one of the tubes). The pegs I think are colour coded but I am not a big fan of plastic pegs so I didn't use them. The zips felt a little tight but I think that was more down to first time pitching errors than quality issues.

Inside standing room is good (I'm 6ft) and there is loads of room in each area. Even in 25 degree heat the tent was well ventilated and comfortable with the side doors open allowing a flow of air.

Packing away was easy and the tent deflated quickly and went into the bag first time. As previously mentioned the bag is large once packed and quite awkward to move around due to the thin straps, it also pretty much filled the boot of my focus hatchback with only room to fit a couple of camping chairs. If planning camping with this tent a a roof box or a trailer is a vey welcome addition.

What a brilliant tent. After 8 very happy years with our sunncamp shadow 600, we decided to upgrade to have more space for visiting family. Having the option to purchase an extra bedroom is a bonus. Being our first air tent we looking forward to the speed in which we could pitch up and down, we were not disappointed. We do have to comment on the weight though, heavy forr just one of us, definitely a two man lifting job! The living space is massive in addition to the porch area, although our current airbeds do not fit into two bedrooms, we had to open the third divider but it's worth the compromise to have more living space. We also thought that the polycotton did make it warmer and a little quieter when compared the polyester. Looking forward to many years camping in this great investment

First of there are some other reviews for this tent, under the Croyde 6 Classic (non inflatable) and Croyde 6 Air (polyester flysheet).

However this is in its own right a separate tent.

We brought this one a few months ago and absolutely love it.

Pros

Extremely easy to put up. I use a little dive tank and can have it up in a couple minutes. Basically peg the 4 corners and inflate. The quick guide rope system is amazing and greatly reduced the number of pegs needed.

Putting down is just as easy - release air and roll. We leave all the inners and carpet in it and it still fits in the bag. The bag is massive.

The pegs are plastic ones which are great for soft to medium ground but you do require heavy duty pegs for hard ground. There is a built in porch which has a fitted ground sheet.

The bedrooms at the back are separated by zip so you can have any combination of 3 rooms, 2 rooms (1 big / 1 double) or 1 large room. We all sleep in a large room. We also brought the additional room as an extra for storage.

We also brought the front add on canopy which is well worth it as it does add a couple of meters of cover on those rainy/sunny days.

Neutral

Heavy tent and big, takes up half the space of the boot, but its no suprise.

Negative

None so far, unlike other reviews we have had it out in rain and after weathering there was no leaks. Even held up to strong winds.

Manufacturer's Description

The inflatable Polycotton flysheet version of the popular and highly rated Croyde 6. The Croyde 6 AIR is the ultimate AirFrame tent.

Both offer a superb camping experience with a high level of specification. At the rear you''ll find the large bedrooms, in a 2+2+2 configuration and in front of these is a large living area with a fully sewn-in groundsheet keeping the weather and bugs at bay. The front of the tent offers a truly flexible space. It can be incorporated into the main living area to give an exceptionally large interior space or it can be divided off to create another room. Rolling back the front panel makes a large sun canopy. It is also a great area for kicking off your shoes before entering the main living area.
It takes only minutes to pump the tent up and a similar time to fully deflate, effortlessly, before rolling up and packing into the oversized carry bag. The high pressure AirFrame provides a strurdy structure that will cope with the worst of the weather, especially when combined with the storm tie dows that are included for each corner.

New for 2017 is the ability to add an inner tent in the living area, a great option when you have extra guests to accommodate.
