Field candy 'Rule Britannia' tent, RRP £395.
If you want to blend into the background, these tents are not for you!
If, however, you want a quality tent which will stand out on the campsite, read on.
The first impression of this tent was quality, the poles, pegs and peg puller have a nice feel to them and there is nothing cheap about it.
The tent is an A frame with a cotton inner going onto the A frame then the heavy polyester fly going over the whole lot, assembly time is under 5 minutes in total.
What you get is a generous 2 berth tent with plenty of internal pockets and a light hanging point sited mid way, there is ample room for bags at the end and even a scented bag provided to keep it smelling fresh, along with locks and water proof instructions. We found it easy to erect and quite spacious, ideal for a weekend at the last minute rather than packing one of our larger tents.
The only downside that we found was that the fly wasnt vented, the inner was bone dry but there was condensation on the inside of the fly which needed drying hence 9-10. The tents are pricy but they are also good quality and built to last, storm guys are provided but not generally needed except for the worse conditions as the tent is solid with just the pegs, it is a rock solid quality tent.

FieldCandy tents are amazing to look at, yes. But in fact are also seriously high spec / high performance products that won’t let you down. Fresh cotton inner tents mean condensation is never an issue. Perfect.
