Managed to eventually get away to Orkney to test this. Works well (as you would expect) in wind, even with a couple of severe gusts that woke me up, tent remained taut with none of that flappy nonsence you get with some tents. The guylines are black, which is a stupid colour if you ask me, too easy to trip up on. Easy to erect and take down, even in strong winds, due to whole tent going up/down in one (24 pegs though). The ties used between the inner and fly are a pain, as some kept coming loose, and you really don't want them permanantly tied. No condensation at all inside the inner tent, even with everything closed.

It's the geodesic version of the Ion 2 from the same year.I would expect the specs to be similar in regards to construction materials.

All flysheet and groundsheet seams are factory taped
FlexLite 7001-T6 poles
I can't really rate it till it's been fully tested.
