2 Reviews of the Newland 3

By: Lightningrider  Reason: I own(ed) one  Made in: 2012   Rating:

Bought this tent a couple of years ago and have just got around to using it. Absolutely excellent! Quick to pitch (even in the rain) plenty of room for 2 adults and as it's all in one, no hassle with finding any stray bits. Would definitely recommend as a festival tent as it has plenty of good storage spaces and the built in ground sheet is an added luxury :-)

Pitched this tent at home just to see how it pitched and looked. It went up pretty well 15 mins or so, only three poles colour coded!.3 berth but think more suited to 2 people with your luggage. Only down side is the standard porch sheet, but if you buy a nylon sheet and cut and to size and sew corners on it like a bath tub to keep the water away. But its not a big issue my wife and son and I tested it last night, and it rained, really hard, and apart from a few drips coming from fly sheet above in to the bedroom, hardly a wash out, abandon tent issue .Water drips coming in well nothing that a spray of sealant on the seams won't cure. Quite a good tent for the price and also good looking tent in the colour scheme. It will get a good test on shell island later on this month, I will report how it fares.
