1 Reviews of the Evo 2 DS

By: Ray B  Reason: I own(ed) one  Made in: 2008   Rating:   Date: 19/04/2009

Bought this tent, because having recently having a stroke I was struggling to put my Vango Delta 300 up & down in windy conditions. It is a lot smaller than the Vango and feels less well made. It has mesh vents on the inner tent so seems to get colder than the Vango. Now to the good points it puts up in seconds and provides shelter, it is so simple to put up and peg & once you have mastered repacking, it puts away in seconds. It is exactly what I needed & that what makes it so good its the perfect tent if your looking for ease and speed

Manufacturer's Description

An upgraded version of Hi Gear's Pitch And Go 2-man tents, this is a simple to use, fully integrated double skin pop up tent.

It pitches in a matter of seconds, simply unpack it from it's carry-bag (which is included) and throw it down, watch it take shape right there in front of you!

It has two integrated 6m fibreglass poles which keep it simple and lightweight. Pre-attached guylines help you to fasten it down quickly if you're exposed to the wind, and they're bright and easy to see, to help you to find it in the dark or on a crowded site.

The fine mesh inner is breathable, and keeps unwanted insects out., while also giving good ventilation. There's a small storage area at the door so you can keep your muddy boots and gear away from your bedding and the rest of your kit.

A simple and versatile tent for anyone who wants no-fuss, trouble free camping.
