The best and most reliable one person 4 season backpacking tent on the market.
I have survived the tail end of a hurricane with howling winds and torrential rain and it didn't leak a drop.
Lightweight and built of strong materials.
It pitches as one with inner, outer and optional footprint groundsheet together giving a reliable shelter in minutes even if pitching in the rain.
The footprint also covers the floor of the vestibule.
Expensive but worth the money

The date I purchased it is approximate. Yes its expensive but its the bees knees in almost any weather conditions. I and a friend have one each and are very pleased with them for difficult camping locations and adverse weather, I've been in sun and snow and horrendous wind. The light weight is particularly welcome for ancient limbs to carry. In good weather the open front style makes it luxurious to laze lying down.

This is the best lightweight tent I have used. It is small and very light when packed, ideal for cycle touring, backpacking or any other kind of travelling with a tent, where weight is important. It is well designed, does not feel cramped even though it is small. It is extremely resistant to all kinds of weather, strong, simple and quick to put up and take down, warm .What more could you want from a tent?
It is expensive, but you get what you pay for. It's brilliant. Buy it!

Hilleberg Akto, lightweight one person tent. Web address http://hilleberg.se/product/akto
A spacious, ultralight, solo tent with true all season function. The Akto is ideal any time you need the lightest weight, all condition solo tent. It is especially good for long trips of any kind, in any season, where light weight is a very high priority. And while it was not designed for extreme use in exposed and/or above tree line terrain, the Akto has proven itself on extended polar expeditions, and so will stand up well to all conditions. This is, in part, because of the Akto’s roomy configuration – it will easily accommodate you and your gear – and because of its remarkably strong Kerlon 1200 outer tent fabric. Its single pole tunnel tent construction, very light (yet very strong) Kerlon 1200 and 9 mm pole make it best suited for mobile trips, where you move your camp every day.
