I purchased an unused 2022 model from Ebay, having fancied a Nevada 4 but at more than twice the price.

Pitching the tent is straightforward. I tried using the Outwell Squall electric pump on the air beams but this was desperately slow. I reverted to the Outwell Cyclone stirrup pum that had the 3 beams up in a trice.

The closure for the end door strangely does not completely close and is not zipped to the bottom groundsheet so lets in bugs. I quite like the magnetic door closure of the bedrooms although the strip magnets had become curved due to the packing and had to be straightened. The dedicated carpet is not a good fit and does not have fixings to keep it spread like other Outwell tents I've owned. The sewn-in groundsheet is very fragile and developed a hole despite there being no hole in the carpet or footprint. The tent proved itself totally waterproof during several days of torrential rain. The polymer pegs supplied by Outwell are very pretty but are also pretty useless at being driven into hard ground.

The tensioning poles for the porchway distorted the door so that it became very difficult to zip up. It seems to me that the poles are too long as it was impossible to get them into their holsters with the beams inflated.
