I have used 4 different big tents before this one.
This is clearly the best one ever.
We have camping with this tent in Lofots, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy and latest in Germany. Waiting for next season.
There are 6 of us and there is plenty of space inside for all of us plus our stuff. The tent is also very easy to erect, about 30 min.
The details of the tent are thoroughly considered. You don't need to hang inner tent after outer tent erection or make some kind of wire hook to hang lamp or anything like that everything is already included. You need quite small amount of pins for this size of tent, I have one 5 person tent where is almost double amount of pins.

We bought this tent so that we had plenty of space for 2 adults and a dog! (It was a bit bigger than we planned but the price was good and it fulfilled all our criteria!)
It is easy to put up with only 2 adults, and even erected for a fortnight doesn't need any adjustments.
The great thing about it is that you can stand up (even in the sleeping compartments)
It is light and airy, and the dog could even play in it.

We bought one to accommodate more of us ie now 4. The tent is spacious, with more than ample sleeping and living areas. The detachable ground sheet and bedrooms is a great feature. We spent 48 hours being buffeted by 45 mph winds and the tent stood up to the test well. The only downside was that as the winds buffeted the tent the 2 cross braces held by tension alone moved due to the tension being altered dramatically in a couple of gusts (I am an experienced camper and have never camped in such constant windy conditions in a family tent before). Overall we were chuffed with the tent and look forward to many years more use.

I can't fault this tent. We managed to purchase this tent at a very reasonable price. There is loads of space with a very large living area and ample bedroom space. The tent is quick and easy to erect and even though it is a large tent 2 people can easily manage. During a torrential thunderstorm the tent did not let any rain in at all which was very impressive considering the conditions. Overall I would recommend Outwell as a brand to anyone wanting to purchase a tent and if you can get one of the few remaining Utah's in stock then go and grab yourself a bargain!

Saw this tent at an outdoor show and was immediately drawn to it's light spacious living area (loads of windows), practical porch and flexible bedroom arrangement. Managed to get it for just under £300 which, given the quality, is a very good buy. The bathtub groundsheet was a step up for us having had a flat groundsheet before. The bathtub design was brilliant, no water ingress despite camping on a muddy pitch with torrential rain. The tent stayed dry and cosy. Plenty of ventilation but without being drafty. Having a detachable groundsheet made it easier to clean up on packing away and we got it back in the bag on the first attempt! Have now added the carpet and extension which make it a home from home. Delighted with this tent.

Needed a bigger tent for growing family. There are 4 of us - 2 adults and 1 girl and 1 boy. We chose an 8 man to give the children a bedroom each and for us to generally have more space. The Utah fitted our requirements perfectly. It is easy to erect, there is enough space inside for a table and chairs, there is headroom, breathing space and lots of windows with curtains to allow lots of light in. The bathtub groundsheet extends under the sleeping pods and as its a bathtub sheet it is easier to clean than a S.I.G. It can be erected with bedroom pods attached or not and we think could even be used as an entertaining space at home should it be required. Overall a great tent - the only very minor downside is that you have to unzip the inner mesh doors from the bottom in order to open the door curtains - its a bit of a faff but not a huge problem as there are windows with curtains either side. The skylight window is a great idea too. We had a bit of rain and wind , both of which were no problem.
Would recommend this tent for its space, flexibility and its light and airiness - its great not to feel claustrophobic!

Clearly focused on spacious comfort for camping families, the roomy interior of the Utah has been enhanced by the NEW arrangement of the bedroom cabins and the Outwell Space Frame System. Other key features in the NEW Utah 8 include the large porch, uniquely placed panel windows with roll-down curtains, and the two skylights. Refreshing screen-house ventilation has been ensured by full-size mesh in the doors and ventilation in the rear wall of each inner tent. The side door can also double as a sunshade by using upright poles. Outwell designers have added the finishing touch to the NEW Utah with refined details such as a detachable bathtub groundsheet, organiser pockets, and low-light windows. Definitely another winner, this version of the Utah is sure to be popular with campers who like a generous amount of roomy comfort.
