This is a fairly lightweight quick and easy to use driveaway awning. It came well packaged with clear and simply instructions which made putting this up even easier.
Just lay it out, face the door where you want it and peg out the 4 corners, insert the poles, attach the guys and away you go. We found it quick to pitch and was easily big enough for the four of, the table, chairs, and the children's bikes. We even had space for the outdoor kitchen and three-way fridge.
The connection to the van is by the usual bead system that slid into the awning rail and created a tight and watertight connection allowing the sliding door to remain open even during the downpour. It also has an extra part of the groundsheet that you can connect to the van to break the wind from whipping through under the van.
With the lip at the front this provided additional shelter allowing us to open up the front door for air whilst staying dry.
Overall a small, lightweight awning that is handy for long weekends, or touring where you need a quick up and down solution.
