I own this tent and it never let's me down.It is easy to put up and when you get the hang of it easy to pack away.I love the fact you can stand in it and it has many great features windows door openings pockets etc. The tent is also very sturdy. I wish I had brought two as you can attach them into a single unit

This is a great bit of kit. Incredibly easy to put up as the name suggests. It gave a nice extra bit of living room for our small van rather than the hassle of putting up our bigger awning, ideal for short breaks away. We watched the youtube videos a few times prior to packing it away and it took us no more than a few minutes. Well made. Pleased with the purchase.

We have camped in this tent for 3 years know and it has not let us down. We added the internal bedroom for this tent which does make it a double skin camping tent that you are able to stand up in, however I would not like to sleep 4 people in with this addition, comfortably sleeps 2 with all luggage.

I have yet to pack it up properly ! Otherwise OK, except one time, in a persistent high wind, the thing kept collapsing and trying to blow away . My car parked in front of the wind didn't help, even tied to it ! - a friend's Camper van parked to windward finally did the trick. I think it's more of a 'beach shelter' than a tent really.

I love my quechua base tent. We have used it a a very roomy tent for 2, it's great to be able to stand to get dressed/undressed. A beach shelter, a bedroom attached to a base xl, a living room attached to a quechua 3man pop up tent. But I mostly use it as an awning for my vw camper. It's fab to arrive and be set up in 5 minutes and the door canopy sits flush with the side of my camper. Perfect. And more than big enough to sit in, cook in, and store all those extra bits in.

A great tent first time using a pop up tent brought from decathlon july went camping forest site same week it was demonstrated in shop to put up and fold taking down.

The tent went up no problem and dismantling was just as easy a instruction sheet is fitted to the bag which I used .

The only fault only one doorway a double would be very useful all in all a great tent would buy another no problem

I now have 3 quechuas, two base standards and on 4.1 with the bedroom attached. It is so versatile. I regularly use one base standard as a kitchen/utility/toilet area for my bongo, with a canopy to keep the rain off. You can use it right up to the sliding door, or off the rear corner, or the front corner or as a standalone. I've used 2 base standards tied together, one for living and one for bedroom (very comfy) and I've also purchased a 4.1 with a bedroom attached but I haven't yet used it!

Absolutely marvellous bit of kit when you've got a small van. So easy to erect and take down. I've given lessons on campsites for people who have just bought them and we nearly had a quechua taking down competition at the Bongo Olympics. I say nearly as it didn't actually happen. Why or why have they stopped making these brilliant tents? They are so much better than the newer ones.

I've put pics up for you to see. Bought this as an add on tent for my Quechua Base Seconds 4.2 . Excellent add on. Plenty of room as an add on or just to use by itself. Only problem I found was on a very very windy/gusty day was two of the corners caved in. Not damaging the tent in any way. But it was a bad day as loads of tents on site were having problems! Nothing a few extra guy ropes wouldnt sort out or so I've read somewhere. All in all a good sized tent. Even better as an add on.

I popped into Decathlon while in Sheffield for the weekend (8.5.11). I bought my Base Seconds 4.2 from there last year and have been very impressed with it. Anyway I saw the Base Seconds mated up to a Base XL and thought it would make an ideal extra room for my Base Seconds 4.2. What further clinched it was that it was reduced to 50 from 80. Decathlon had groundsheets for 10 and EVEN BETTER, the Inner tent which is usually 30, was ONLY 10 when bought with the tent, so I got the lot, all for 70, absolute bargain. I can use this with my BS 4.2, or on it own for a quick stopover.

I have this and a couple of other different sized pop ups (inc the full which is no longer made). Easy, easy, easy and flexible for different types of trip.I would never go back to traditional tents. We had strong winds that blew in the corners but I added a guy to a loop on the corner poles. This solved the problem.
