3 Reviews of the Slumit Gobi III

If a fast set up is required this is the tent for you 30 seconds and its up then peg it down and your inside within two minutes I used this tent this weekend 12/07/2013 what an amazing piece of kit my friends were still erecting their tent when I was going out for the day.It is well w/proofed at 3000 and folds down and away in 6 minutes if your not mucking around as we all do on site. And it does go back in the bag. The porch area is handy for putting your extras in and keeping dry. Plenty of room to sleep but then I travel alone so I do have an extra two berths space but is ideal for a small family for a few good nights camping well worth the money can be bought direct from slumit at slumit website for £99 if you use the code ilove2slumit its actually £110 but using the code will get another 10 percent off go and see the site and watch the video of the erecting it is that easy honest as the site says as easy as buttering your toast

For the money, I'm no expert, but I think it's a great tent, ample room for two people, very easy to put up (less than 5mins) very waterproof and stood up really well in strong winds. A very well made product, very light but appears very durable.Only down side is the porch area is too small, The canopy and footprint bought at the same time make it a great deal.

Similar to Khyam, this quick pitch tent really goes up quickly and easily. With plenty of room inside and a couple of pockets for keeping those loose bits to hand, the tent looks well made and has plenty of ventilation through the generous use of mesh material. I also have the Canopy set and footprint added at time of purchase.

Manufacturer's Description

The very modish, high spec Slumit® GOBI III is quick to pitch thanks to our latest FlashFrame-Flexi™ Pitch System - see the new demo pitch video below (based on the CUBII). The three season, 3 berth GOBI is generous, strong and secure.
The two layered Slumit® GOBI III offers a 3000mm HH waterproof outer fly - suitable for spring summer showers - and a stable, lockable frame structure designed and tested to withstand breezy conditions and winds of up to 25mph (40kph). The breathable inner layer (with 'no-see-um' mesh split walls and door) in addition to the integrated groundsheet, provides protection from unwanted creepy crawlies when sleeping. The breathable layer also reduces condensation build up - which is commonly mistaken for water fabric leakage.
For those unfamiliar with 'no-see-ums' they are much smaller but equally as thirsty as their blood sucking cousin, the mosquito! The GOBI III's inner door and side vents are all equipped with no-see-um mesh.
The Slumit® GOBI III is the perfect field companion for any camping aficionado, festival goer or backpacker.
Please note: The GOBI III does require one pole to be threaded through the vestibule (porch) pole sleeve. The FlashFrame-Flexi™ does the rest!
What's included? FlashFrame-Flexi™ Mechanism & Frame, Outer Fly, Inner Layer, Ground Sheet, x1 Fibre Pole (for Vestibule/Porch), Guy Ropes, Easy Stuff Carry Case, Strong Steel Ground Pegs and Decorative Mechanism Cover.
Canopy Pole Set and Ground Protector Footprint all sold separately - choose from available options above.
The GOBI III ships with a 2 Year Frame Warranty. RRP £110.00
