I was sceptical when my husband suggested this tent, however we've just come back from a 9 night trip in the North West of Scotland (we live in West Central Scotland). The SoulPad was an absolute dream - I love love love it! Its a great size, it has plenty room for myself, husband and our 2 year old who also loved it. We had an electric hook up for a wee electric heater - we will be getting the wood burning stove - just not yet. Can't wait for our next trip in it - FABULOUS!

We've had our Soulpad about a year now and absolutely love it! It was bought to replace the old Vango which was destroyed by 40mph winds in Mull. Although we've not had to endure similar weather (.Yet) it's held up well to the wind and rain that we've had in Glencoe this week.

We have a lot of camping gear and given the weather we have in this country, we really enjoy having the space to be able to sit, sleep and cook in the tent without feeling cramped. Plus, it's great for socialising and sheltering friends! Once the solar powered fairy lights are on and the wine is poured it's remarkably cosy (lights sold separately!)

It is easy to put up and although it is heavy to lug about it is definitely worth it. It seems to always draw a lot of attention from passers by and so far everyone who's stopped to ask about the tent has been really lovely about it.

I can't imagine ever going back to a flexi pole type tent so long may this Soulpad continue : )

Like most we had gone down the glamping route and taken everything but the kitchen sink and are owners of a large family polycotton tent, which as wonderful as it is, we were now after a weekend tent that would cut down on the time taken on setting up and reduce the pack size taken up by the boot of the car!

This needed to tick a number of boxes; It needed to be very easy to erect, even better if it could be set up by one person, it needed to be spacious enough for a family of four plus dog and gear, it needed to be quick to set up, therefore having a sewn in groundsheet. Although it didn't need to be lightweight, it needed to be lighter than the family sized polycotton tent, but we were converts to canvas so wanted best of both worlds.

The bell tent ticked all these boxes and more, the interior on the 5 metre is deceptively spacious and very light and airy. As with other bell tent designs, its very simple to erect, roll out, peg out, unzip door, push up central pole whilst slotting into place each of the spring loaded parts, insert the A-frame doorway, which is 5'7' then zip up door and peg out the 15 guylines.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Its so simple, it states that with practice one person can erect it in 15 minutes, on my second attempt it took me 25 minutes, so the 15 mins time is my goal.

There is a hook on the central pole for attaching a light or other decorations, as it can't be helped but to want to decorate this tent!

There are also 4 low level zipped windows with mesh on the outside, to help with ventilation.

I love the tent, the kids love the tent and the OH who is definitely not the hippy kind is very impressed. This is definitely a 10 out of 10 tent.

Just come back from an epic camping holiday in Wales where we were perched on the top of a hill and endured biblical weather.

I was astonished to go through two solid days and nights of howling wind and sideways rain intact. Two tents blew flat and one vanished. Throughout all that our Big-Top (Soulpad) tent resolutely remained.

In the strongest gale the main pole flexed like an archers bow which was at times disconcerting but we had enough space (2 adults and 2 young children) to live happily and snug. The tent is as heavy as a mutha hubbard when packed and I'd not contemplate packing it wet but it's incredibly easy to put up ( literally 10 mins) and pack away.

Top-tip : when pegging out the base (step 1) peg opposite sides of the maintaining tension rather than working your way around in a circle.

Although it looks hilarious it is surprisingly practical - lots of room to move about, enough space to pack in lots of friends when they crash your holiday. Zero condensation (hurray for that), shockingly strong even in apocalyptic weather conditions. Conclusion - so long as you don't mind people thinking that the circus has arrived then it's top banana.
