3 Reviews of the Roadrunner 33

We had a few problems with our road runner.First the flysheet leaked where the guyropes were attached. The North Face arranged for a new flysheet for us to pick up from the local stockist. Next problem was the following year the waterproof coating started to flake off this replacement flysheet. This time they could not replace it but gave us a full value credit note. The actual practicalities of this tent were wonderful and we were very upset at loosing it. Between the problems we had some fantastic backpacking outings. It was easy and quick to pitch and light to carry. We were informed that it is no longer available to purchase. I am sure we were just unlucky with the flysheets.

Have had this tent from new, brilliant tent tons of space for 2, 3 would be very cosy. Both sides open so no clambering over each other in morning or middle of night!'! I have gear loft in mine find it well worth having. Also there plenty of porch space, but Only 1 niggle because of weight saving it top part made of mesh and can get very cold as I found out in Greenhead. On the whole would definitely recommend

Really good pack size. Easy to erect and airy/lots of light. Absolutely no way this will fit 3 people.Unless the alternative is to be eaten. But then stuck in this you may quickly want to eat each other anyway! Two people who are very friendly and have a small amount of porch-based baggage.
