2 Reviews of the Santo Airbeam

By: Rose in a tent  Reason: I've used one  Made in: 2017   Rating:

Love this quick easy to erect tent that fits in the bot of car. Ideal for weekends 3 to 5 nights for a couple. Warm, cosy, sturdy and front provided space for cooking, seating etc. With front zipped down. We are the proud owners of a Vango Illusion 500 XL polycotton tent which we absolutely love for our two to three weeks away and enjoy the space, luxury etc,and are happy to tow small trailer for those longer hols. But loved throwing a few bits in the boot, including Santo Tent and taking off fof a few nights too. Please do not take this out of range. Big is beautiful for families and longer holidays but smaller well designed works too.

Lovely cosy tent. I camp on my own and am aged 70 but I got it up on my own and in a very respectable time. Great tent to holiday for 1 for at least a week, ok for 2 at a push but 4 would mean sitting outside but the bedroom would sleep 4 if youre very 'close.

I'm tall but I can stand up in it. The new airvents in the sides and at top of doors are great. At 4000 hh I'm confident it won't leak as I've had Vango before. The only downside is the pesky curtain closers. They're fiddly toggles and very annoying! But it nice to sit with the curtains open listening to rain hitting the top of the tent

Manufacturer's Description

New for 2018 and designed to provide a comfortable, but quick and easy to pitch weekend tent, the Santo is the ideal model for those seeking the convenience of an inflatable tent at a more affordable price point. Its ergonomic design means it has a comparatively small pack size and is surprisingly light for a family tent. The simple three beam structure means it can be taken out of the car boot and pitched in only a few minutes. Despite its compact packed size, the Santo offers a full stand up height living room, with two king size bedrooms, that can be converted to one large bedroom if required. The Santo provides the ideal quick getaway tent where space and budget are a concern
