The unique thing about the Hawk (as far as I know!) is that it has 5 doors. 2 of the doors are next to the sleeping compartments, which gives you the flexibility to use just one compartment, and have another area easily accessible from the outside. Or you could use the tent for parties, and not put up any bedrooms, giving a large tent with doors on 3 sides and 2 windows on the other. The tent is very sturdy, mesh on all doors, great ventilation. IT takes a little while to put up and is heavy, but I managed on my own (female, 5'5') with 3 small children watching, and found the instructions easy to follow - although I did need to borrow a childs car seat as a stool to insert the higher of the bedroom tabs. Haven't tried in rainy or wild weather yet, but great in sunshine! The groundsheet is separate though, which some of you might not like. I do, as on our last sunny weekend away we had lovely soft grass in the porch area. Really pleased with it, though might get a smaller easy erect tent for weekend trips.

It is made from good quality materials. It is spacious (Only two of us camping in it). We put a Coleman Queen sized air mattress in the larger room and used the smaller room to store my fishing stuff, food and clothes etc, which left us with the entire living area free of clutter. It also has very useful storage pouches on the inside for mobiles and keys etc. It is a little more difficult to erect when compared to an ordinary dome tent. This is a superb tent once you get it erected.
