We had no reason whatsoever to buy this canvas cathedral of a tent, except to out-glamp everyone else!. It is the four door version, which just makes it even larger! Like most Bells it is easy to put up, as long as the wind is low. The main factor is always going to be the size of the pitch; at 7m plus the guys, we need a pitch at least 11m x 11m, and there is every danger we could be surcharged.
Our recent outing to Carmarthenshire was eventful, as there was two gales, both with high winds and torrential rain, and we suffered a pole malfunction which meant that we had to splint the main pole. I blame the freakish weather rather than the tent, but we will have to replace the pole.
We had a double height double airbed, a 6ft circular daybed, a 3 seat inflatable sofa bed, 2 large camping chairs, and there was still room for a table and four chairs, if we had space in the car! The amount of room cannot be overstated, but I must point out that the greater the volume, the greater the need for heating, as it can get parky if there is no sun! We have yet to pluck up the courage to cut a flue hole in the canvas.
Overall we are pleased with this beauty, but would recommend that anyone thinking of buying one should examine their motives very closely. It is very expensive, very heavy, and restricted in pitching, but a light, airy, versatile space.

This is a spectacular chill-out area at any festival or summer garden party with optional 2 doors at either end of the tent for a really great outdoor 'room' feel. We've had reports of many a great activity in our 7m tents - some of you have held yoga & meditation classes in them, had parties in them or used it for a luxurious and quirky bridal suit, to name but a few.
This bell tent also comes with a heavy duty zipped in ground sheet so you can roll up the sides and lounge about enjoying the breezy shade beneath on hot and sunny days. They also come with 4 zipped windows and air vents at the top to allow for more air flow.
All our bell tents are made from 100% naturally dyed breathable canvas that drapes down from the center pole and is held tight by guy ropes to create that distinctive old fashioned shape outside and wonderful soft ambiance within.
This year for 2013 after getting feedback from our customers, we have also introduced a secondary mosquito netting door and a thicker 35cm center pole and thicker guy ropes and stronger pegs that won’t bend when you hammer them into the ground.
Also to add that exclusive boutique camping touch, we have also added our own branded zippers and metal guy ropes.
All our Bell Tents Canvas is treated with –mould, rot and water repellent and come with a 12 month manufacturers warranty.
