I purchased this tent to replace an Outwell Birdland 4 which after 3 years use had suffered UV damage ,this is about the same size .
The tent
Has two steel poles in the middle , a lower fiberglass pole over the bedroom and a fiberglass half pole which extends the roof at the front of the living area . All the poles are angled to give good height right to the edge of the tent .
I find the ventilation very good compared to the Outwell ,a deep vent above the front door and a long one at the rear feeding air into the bedrooms . The inner tent doors are also a third mesh with zip covers ,the inner also has a fully removable zip out divider .
There are some quality issues with this tent ,Some of the buckles on the peg out straps had been incorrectly fitted ( an easy fix )abrasion marks in the centre of the side door , I was told by the dealer this was normal production or transit marks !You would not accept this if it was on a waterproof jacket .
I find this tent easy to pitch ,the mesh pole sleeves help a lot.
So far we have used this tent 3 times . Last weekend camped on an exposed site on the north Cornwall coast in very strong wind and heavy rain ,the tent did not move but we did have 2 water leaks ,both on the tie back loops for the side door which are attached to the main seam , I have now sealed the outside of this seam and hope it cures the problem .
Overall we really like this tent ,all the floor space is useable ,it is nice and light inside ,one large side window and two small ones either side of the front door ,no windows in the doors which makes them easier to use . If you are a fan of pockets you might be disappointed ,there are none in the living area and only two small double pockets in the inner tent ,this is fine for us ,we don't even use cup holders in cars .
Coleman don't recommend that you leave inner attached so pitching does take slightly longer .
The grey /green colour scheme looks nice and is not too dark inside .

Quick and easy to pitch, the Vespucci range combines generous dimensions with full head height throughout for comfort and convenience on the campsite. The living room is large enough to house a dining table and chairs for 4, while the integrated groundsheet and rainskirts keep the bad weather and bugs outside. Large, separate bedrooms easily fit double airbeds for greater privacy and comfort. Reflective guidelines keep the risk of tripping to a minimum.
