One of the best tents I have owned in the last 30 years was the Coleman Weathermaster Plus of the 2004 vintage. I tried to look after it very carefully as they're not making this model any more and I have not found a comparable alternative anywhere else. Coleman did later bring out other models of tents using the Weathermaster name. I had a look at these and they didn't resemble the old Weathermaster Plus at all. In no other tent have I found a model quite so ingenious in design, which I could erect alone in half an hour, and still have 2 bedrooms and standing height. The roll-back roof and large mesh panels were fantastic in hot weather. In wet weather, I liked the large plastic windows and protected ventilation. Although, I am now used to canvas tents and appreciate their benefits, the Weathermaster had such good ventilation and layering that it had no condensation on the inside (the condensation would collect under the bikini fly leaving the actual tent roof dry) and was still cool in hot weather.
Unfortunately after 7 to 8 years of very frequent use, the flysheet failed. The waterproof coating seemed to be peeling away and it began to leak badly in heavy rain. I tried to reproof to no avail so had to throw it away.
I have since bought other tents, and am enjoying them very much, especially the canvas ones, but still miss the Weathermaster at times. Then fate stepped in, and I found a 2nd hand little used Weathermaster Plus for sale in the next village. I am collecting it tonight. This is my recommendation: I am buying the same tent twice, even knowing eventually I will have to dispose of it due to the waterproofing issue.
One more thing to add, this tent was sold as a 6 berth, believe me it is actually a 4 berth, and even better for 2 people with one bedroom inner removed to leave a lovely large living area. If you want to own this tent and see one 2nd hand for sale, make sure it is the Plus model, no. 200926, anything else is a compromise.

So resistant and comfortable at the same time! This American style cabin tent is suitable for 6 people with its 2 inner rooms which allow privacy. As its name suggests the Coleman Weathermaster Plus Tent is highly weather resistant with fully integrated ground sheet, strong steel poles and door gussets. The PVC large windows provide plenty of light into the tent and can be adjusted thanks to window covers. This tent also includes a removable roof so that you can even star gaze on warm summer evenings.
