Great ten for a family of 6 ,very easy to pitch and also pack away there is plenty space and easily carried in a people carrier with two adults and four young children ,and it also with stood very strong winds which sad to say levelled the rest of the tents on the site and cut short other folks holiday

Great Size Tent, with plenty of pockets and also plenty of air vents. Also nice size windows and great sky lights. The Bedrooms are a great size. Easy to pitch took us about 30mins in total. We also purchased the footprint and we will be purchasing the carpet. We have also purchased a canopy and it was great to have to.

I bought one of these last year, as we wanted something that could sleep 6, knowing that you have to knock off 2 9 approx) when looking for how many it'll sleep. And no, to sleep 8 in this would be a tight squeeze!
We used one end for storage, toys, etc, the other fitted our double airbed and my son's bed perfectly.
Not too bad to erect, not one to be done alone, but with more practice it was fine!
Purchased the carpet & footprint, which made it very cosy & smart.
My Oh loves it, my son loved sleeping in it, and liked the skylight, nice touch.
I bought it on offer, so it was roughly £100 less than the rrp, bargain for a tent this size :)

I bought an Olympus 8 blind from the net ( next directory actually ) , its our first tent we are a family of four me, the wife son 10 daughter 11
I had heard of Gelert and was mildly aware they were a decent enough product however its advertised as an 8man but it has only 2 bedrooms and there is no way at all of fitting x2 double air beds in each room, so to fit 8 persons in the 2 rooms it would be a very tight squeeze with everyone sleeping on mats. The living area is quite small .
The tent is easy to put up and packs away into 1 neat bag, we have used it 3 times now and used it at weekend when one of the bedroom hangers has split. All in all for the price I paid and having now done a little research I can tell you that this tent is over priced.
It has a feel of an unprofessional tent if you get me, it's like a toy tent not the real thing. I might be being a bit harsh I suppose its ok for a weekend tent for occasional use but at £250 you expect the real thing.
Too sum up avoid this tent if you want space and quality, might be worth a look if you can get one cheap for the odd weekend

Fantastic size with plenty of air vents. We are delighted with this tent as we are new to camping and it is really easy to put up. We have purchased the footprint carpet a real must and half price on amazon, it has made the tent so so cosy. The bedrooms are a good size with fantastic pockets that are really convenient. We suggest the footprint ground sheet be purchased as it protects the tent and adds to the comfort.
