Cracking good tent. I still have it some 13 years after I bought it. A family of mice once set up home in the bag for the canvas and ate it some, but duct tape does the job for a season and it's still in use for accommodation for summer visitors. The frame doubles as a temporary greenhouse in the spring, covered with a sheet of UV-resistant plastic. I once thought of selling it because a friend was after a frame tent for a festival stall, a function it could also perform admirably, but I'm very glad I didn't.

Bough this off Ebay for just 50.00 ! what a bargain. Ita a Lichfield 4 rather than the 6. It is quick and easy to put up by one person, once up you feel safe and secure under its steel poles and canvas. It has so much room inside for just the 2 of us, but would be just as cosy with 2 plus 2 I think. Just tried it out at Ivy Lodge for 4 days, the last night we had a thunder/lighting storm and it rained all night, but the tent didnt leak and hardly moves in the wind. A well sized, solid frame tent with great head height throughout, 2 x double pods with SIG,s cooking area and sun canopy. Cant wait to use this again !

Really nice canvas frame tent built to last. Hope to get few more happy years out of it.
Big living space and big bedroom with the option of putting down a wall either side to make it in to 2 or 3 bedrooms it would be cozy with 6 people in the room but there is space.
Takes around 45 mins to erect and a hour to put away
Have not tried it in the rain YET so ill report back after that trial.
Also you need a fair size car or trailer to fit ten in,but if you have the space its the perfect 2nd hand family canvas tent

Proud owner of British cotton canvas tent :-)
Bought this for winter camps but I think it will become 'our main tent' :-)
Pitch in 20mins . Erect steel tube frame then put canvas on , peg around skirt and 4 main guys. Job done.
Then install ground sheet, bedroom pod, and carpet. Move kit in :-).
Very rugged tent to suit all weathers, much heavier than the modern tents, but worth every ounce of it.
