Very adaptable for group camping cover, van awning and gazebo replacement. Quick to put up and easy to adjust. We like to experiment with extra poles and features on-site to customise every time we pitch. Fabric and guys are of good quality with no seam errors or loose threads. Outwell quality not quite up to expectations on ours as the plastic feet on the poles were v. Brittle, One broke when the tarp was first used. (I used Isabella awning pole end stoppers to replace)

Much classier than a gazebo! Lovely to sit under together if it's a bit wet. Strong and well made. Sadly not available in cotton canvas. Excellent value for money. Easy to pitch

Just used for first time and rigged to utilise as side awning to our tent. Was great, even under extreme conditions.
Pros: Quick to erect, day-glo guy ropes and keeps you completely dry (tested out on very wet and windy week at the coast). Also quick to take down.
Cons: Extremely poor plastic tent pegs, started to break when trying to knock into grassy ground with mallet. Ended up using spare metal ones, lucky we had some. Hence an 8/10 instead of 1010.
Would recommend this buy, but make sure have spare pegs.

I have already reviewed this tarp but there is now an up date to this. We recently spent a few weeks in the south of France where it was very hot and, with some creative use of nearby trees and an extra pole, we able to rig up a front sun canopy for our camper and awning. Yet another use for a very versatile piece of kit.

Used this tarp with a Outwell Carolina S tent attached to centre pole of tent and it made a great porch. Very easy to erect with sturdy poles. We must say the service from outwell has been fantastic the first tarp arrived damaged it was replaced FOC and did not have to sent damaged one back. As with all outwell products the Quality is outstanding

We bought one of these to use as a shelter for short trips that made using the camper awning impractical. Last weekend we finally managed to use it. It is BIG and you'll need some space for it. Its relatively easy to erect though having an assistant helps! Under sunlight it provided some welcome shade. It also rained whilst the tarp was up and it kept the table and chairs that were under dry as well as two relaxer type chairs we were sat on under it as well. The steel poles are good too because they will hold the magnets on a circular UFO light so one at each end of the tarp produces a rather tasteful lighting effect. All in all, for the money, I would recommend one of these and I'm looking forward to experimenting with various configurations of it.

I haven't yet used this for a camping trip, just had it out in the garden. There's plenty of head height under the tarp and enough space for a table and 6 chairs. The guy lines make the pitching space rather large and I would worry leaving it out when it's windy! The Tarp is a pleasant green colour, the poles are thick and sturdy and it's very easy to get back inside the carry bag!

This is probably the best camping accessory we have ever bought. Its versatility is fantastic and we would never envisage camping without it. It comes with one set of poles but we also have 2 other sets of porch poles from other ouwell tents so we use these in whatever combination each situation requires. It is great as an extension/canopy to the front/side of any tent and provides an area to cook under if its raining. You can adjust the height to suit each occasion. I can't rate it highly enough-go buy one today!

Simple in design, but an absolute boon in providing shade when and where needed. The two accompanying poles secure the Tarp and is offering a generous sheltered space.
Recommendation: For that extra bit of shade and shelter when it’s needed and where space allows.
