I had to write a review as after years of rubbish tent choices, we invested in this tent. Currently sitting in it weathering a storm of heavy wind and rain that has been raging through the night and now through the morning, the tent is withstanding this battering. I am so pleased with its performance. It is solid and sturdy and is not going to leak or go anywhere.
It is July so temperatures are not cold but I can feel the difference of having a cotton poly mix. The tent does not get too hot or cold and is not too light in the mornings.
At 30kg it is also easy to lift a short distance.
Pitching is easy as long as you remember to open the valves to inflate otherwise it immediately deflates. Deflating is v. Easy!
Lost a star as it says 5 person tent. We are a family of 3 and this is just about a comfortable size with all our food, furniture and belongings. Anymore people and it would feel quite small.
Well-done Robens, an affordable, easy to pitch, solid tent which I can not recommend enough.

Manufacturer's Description
The Lookout 500 is a large inflatable five-person tent in our HydroTex® Polycotton RS. A Yunan aluminium alloy pole creates a large porch for sheltered outside living and allweather protection of the front door and window. The front door features a mesh panel behind to help keep the tent insect-free. New low vents beneath the side windows work in conjunction with the rear vent to aid air flow. The innertent is divided in two to sleep in a 3+2 configuration.
