1 Reviews of the Southern Cross 2
By: Seegz Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2024 Rating:
This tent is a fantastic all season tent.
It's not really big enough in my opinion to sleep two people, so although it's sold as a two person tent, I would only use it for one person.
As a one person, it's a fantastic size.
Plenty of room for one person, with lots of gear because it has two porches.
I'm 5'11 and can sleep comfortably and sit up in the tent with room above my head.
Very easy and quick to pitch, and being four season, it feels very safe in very high winds and driving rain.
Very good air-flow to keep condensation down/away. I've only used it in the summer so far, so haven't experienced any condensation yet.
It's a great back-packing tent. Although there are lighter tents available, I think the extra inside space and weather protection is well worth the extra weight.
I love this tent!
